I don't get either side of this argument. If you are afraid of your child being touched, don't send them alone on a plane. If you are that embarrassed and inconvenienced by simply having to change seats, don't get on a plane. Seems there's much more people flying these days than really should be.

Lol. Your guy's tax system is so unnecessarily complicated.

Overall medals? We can't just use whatever quota we want to measure success. Seven gold medals is extremely dismal for a country of 127 million people that all have the opportunity to play sports as children.

Lol. You guys sure seem to hate the police in a country where the crime rate is so low you'll probably never experience it.

Wolfpack, the Japanese team was probably the most under-performing at this year's games.

Wow. Why is it that just the mere mention of anyone over the age of 50 will cause the commenters on this website to go beserk?

Ms Alexander, suicide is not a Japan-exclusive problem.

When did CHILDREN become a buzzword for people to lose their minds? We're not struggling to populate our world anymore, children are no more valuable than the countless others who are in trouble for whatever reason.

Who says you get to dictate the price of melons? If you think they're overpriced, don't buy them.

Cricky, then let's demolish all bars, clubs and izakayas then. Oh, and every Dunkin' Donuts and McDonalds while we're at it. Let's take down every pachinko palour, video game store- hell, shopping's an addiction for some people, right? Goodbye, malls!

Ranger_Miffy2, how about those same workers who lose their jobs when business tanks because smokers decide not to visit anymore?

Posted in: Welcome to the toy cafe; no kids allowed See in context

tmarie, some people like to smoke. That is why there's areas in which they can smoke while doing the things that people like to do, including drink coffee. If you don't like it, go somewhere smoke-free.

Because it's a supermarket? A big box that exchanges food for money? Who cares about the name of the box?

That's the problem with fire, buggerlugs. It's easy to tell the people who've never experienced a major one before because they always say what you just said, as if fire gives you the option to save anything. At a certain point, attempting to get your kids out WILL kill you, no questions asked.

Even if they had engaged in some kind of consensual sexual act, the fact of the matter is he still killed her. If you don't know how to perform a dangerous act without killing the other person, then you shouldn't do it.
