Should be mentioned that Mitsui Fudosan received billions from the Tokyo LOC to use the facilities a year later with the reason that they would have to delay the handover to the new owners.

corporate tax rate Japan soon 30 % +

Singapore. 17 %, 3 year exemption for start ups

South Korea as from 2023. 20 %

Taiwan 19 %

Japan is driving the foreign companies out.

my company and 4 jobs I have relocated to Singapore.

we were a net value creator bringing in much more money in Japan than we took out.

I had already decided to move my company to Singapore as from December because of the criminal organisation Dentsu stealing my company’s business and revenue unpunished.

also 7 years( with 6 years of profit and a breakeven in 2020) and still I get only a 1 year business visa again.

the tax raise is a sign it was the right decision. Japans corporate tax will next year be 10 % higher than South Korea and 9 % higher than Taiwan.

add to that completely incompetent politicians, more nationalism, protectionism and racism and the decision to leave is more than sufficiently motivated.

my sportsmarketing and management company in Japan has been fighting this since 2017. We work ethically and morally correct but my investors, staff, clients, customers and myself are cheated out of business, revenue and profit by the.corrupt Dentsu, ADK and Ioc.

yet the “ fair trade commission” Japan, the Japanese media, all ignore us.

and I have shown over 30 years to be a leading expert in the field, even having created a j league 1 team.

we are forced out of the market as we refuse to be corrupted and so are considered dangerous as not controllable for Loc, ioc, Dentsu and others

Posted in: As yen tumbles, gadget-loving Japan goes for secondhand iPhones See in context

Japan is going back to the stone age because of a handful of families collecting all the wealth, taxes killing the middleclass. The shrinking population and inflation are the final blows.

Other contributing factors are extremely poor educational standards, decreasing English ability, ridiculous administrative and bureaucratic rules. The house renting maffia.

my leaving Japan costs the jobs indirectly of hundreds of Japanese people but the xenophobia and plain racism makes impossible to stay.

Posted in: Japan household spending up 2.3% in September as virus restrictions removed See in context

There is no real increase in consumption at all. On the contrary.

i left Japan now, six of the growing xenophobia and constant racism. And my company is doing well, we bring every year over 5 million US in business into Japan. My work makes for at least 200 indirect jobs for Japanese and it will take quite a number of Japanese people to replace my monthly spending.

but, can not stand it anymore. The constant aggravation and crazy bureaucracy.

not being married to a Japanese women and not working at a multinational, it is not worth it anymore.

I pay crazy taxes, health insurance and pension fees for a pension I will never get and is peanuts anyway.

that is not to mention having my dogs stolen, no legal standing, maffia housing companies with crazy deposits and high rents for sub par quality houses.

japan is a bankrupt country quickly sinking back to samurai times. With a few feudal families milking the place
