Posted in: Japan slams brakes on Uber taxi service See in context

Uber has not much possibilities against Japan bureaucracy... I think Uber had become the "Napster" of public transportation and soon someone will be smart enough to make a official taxi-friendly service that could demolish Uber and keep the taxi drivers happy...

Posted in: Should naked photo hacking be considered a sex crime? See in context

It can be considered sex crime if the criminal sending the pictures wants to poke humiliation of the victim or wants to get money from the victim. Hackers can do the same, but they know they put in jeopardy if they try at least to contact their victims, indeed the hacker wanted money but also show to the world the flaws in security a lot of people have, being sure that someone can win an Oscar but maybe not know how to put a secure password in the internet, where the flaws in security can put you naked in front of hackers.

Posted in: Japanese fans drown sorrows after World Cup exit See in context

Japan could have a better World Cup but somehow the offensive was very poor, if they pushed offensive a little bit more, maybe the first two games could be won, but weather and a humble defense paid the price at the end.

Posted in: Joggers warned to mind their manners as they run around Imperial Palace See in context

For each 10000 runners there could be some hundreds that thought the road is for them and not for the tourists, always happened in every part of the world. Running counterwise the tourists? This is hard, the runners go to both sides!!!

Solution: Open a road specific for the runners, however they must treat it like it is a running road. As sometimes happened in occidental parks where the space or events defined for runners (not runs, just when the goverment closes the street to allow free walking around) the place began to be filled with bikes, skateboards and other stuff that put in danger the people that have fun on foot.

Posted in: The top 8 fast food chains in Japan See in context

From the list, I only do not have the chance to eat in Subway´s and Krispy Kreme in 2005, from the others my two favorites where Lotteria and Freshness Burger, indeed, I had a Freshness close to my home in Kanazawa and I really enjoyed to eat there, the only problem against McDonalds was the price, but in the other way, I can relax and enjoy a hamburger and a trendy coffee while reading magazines for free... beat that Ronald!

Nice one... makes me remember the old annoucements of the Tourism Office in Mexico with the music where the epic landscapes and the music really invites the viewer to visit the places featured in the video. This one really does the work even when adding some fantastic anime shots... and makes the idea that K-On is one of these animes that reflects some of the life view in anime...
