Hope Mexico and Japan keep the good relationships in all the ways, that Mexicans know that Japan is something more than videogames and anime, is a country that can share a lot of great things with our nation. BTW the spelling of our president name is funny, without the ñ his name sounds like "shame"

Melon pan, I always remembered when my partners and me, walking around Himeji, find a stand of Melon pan, and everybody though that the bread that they sell has a melon flavor, so we decided to buy some. The surprise was big for us when the flavor was vanilla, then we asked why they called melon pan, it was because of the form of Melon (that in Mexico the bread gets the name of Concha, that mean "shell" in English due to be closer of a turtle shell). We just laughed at the reply and we left eating our conchas.

Once I entered the woman's cab without knowing about that rule. When I realized that all women were staring at me with a What the...? I realized my mistake and I decided to put my eyes on floor until next station where I moved out to the next car.. In Mexico there is also this rule, but as long as several women take their children to school, male kids below 12 are also allowed. However, Mexican authorities found that there were also female sex offenders.. yes, lesbian offenders.

And, BTW, Who is really interested to go to Tokyo Disneyland? Americans have two Disney parks, do they really need to go to Tokyo to see another Disneyland? I can understand of the Asian tourists as long as probably they have very far America from there. And the people that comes to Japan from Occident, I can bet that they would enjoy more an anime-themed park than Disneyland.

Hmm, from my experiences in Japan I could say that Tokyo is really a very populated city where I do not want to live and I decided to keep it as the surprise city that can be visited 2-3 days and then leave for a period and come back later. I mean, moving around in the tourist spots of Tokyo is fine, a friend, herself a Japanese travel guide, made me like the best places of the Tokyo area, I just ask her "Do the choices, I only want to go to Kamakura, I leave the rest to you", and she showed me the best places of Kamakura and some nice places of Tokyo like Odaiba and Omotesand, as a plus she lead me to Yokohama. When I took the decisions the first move was almost a disaster, but I enjoyed the few places I had the chance to see. In the last two trips I was more focused to see specific places like Akiba, Chiba and Harajuku, it was not hard for me to enjoy these places at all.

Then Latinos should make a Latino pride group and ask to recall Dora the Explorer toys because they are also racist, and also the white people should recall Barbie and Bratz dolls because they are also... so is offensive to buy dolls of slaves or former slaves because it means we are buying slaves? Maybe with that criteria buying every toy depicting humans is a slavery act...

Posted in: Do you consider the way AKB48 are presented and marketed a form of porn? See in context

At least is no porn in the way we can expect what is porn, but I think is a very clever way to exhibit women as object in the sight of the society, by using teenagers as a cute troupee of cute girls insinuating that she could be with someone older. And I think they came farther than her rivals Morning Musume. When the MM were really famous I compared the Hello Project with a situation that happened in Mexico regarding a guy called Sergio Andrade that was the manager of Gloria Trevi and other pop music acts, with the difference that he broke the line and end in jail by minor corruption.

Well I saw some of these works and think to myself that is ok, the tissues one comes really handly because in winter sometimes you are out of tissues (and with a cold in your nose...) or in summer you need something to clear yourself, there were times that they also provides little towels for that purpose. The elevator ladies, helps to keep clean the elevator and brings some eye candy to the trip.

The only process I was always shocked is about how they move money. When you pay you must put the money in a container, then the employee takes the container, removes the money, then he put the fare in the container and gives it back to you. Is always very weird to see this.

Posted in: Japanese 'Avengers' fans up in arms over shoddy voice acting on Blu-ray release See in context

Interesting point, probably Disney wanted to appeal to use star talents or a more cheap dubbing company instead of the companies Paramount used for the first movies, a big problem when you became a big fan of the first five movies and then your superheroes changes voices in the worst way possible. Do you remember The Simpsons movie? Japan had a similar situation, Fox knew that the movie was going to be a hit and decided to remove the dub company they were using and instead input star talents (more known movie and tv stars) to perform the characters and with this the movie was destroyed by Simpsons fans.

I am still remember the scandal that the book Memoirs of a Geisha caused in the geisha community in Japan when the writer refers the oshiage (where a geiko's virginity is put into auction) with a lot of details (even the doctor who won the auction took the evidence of the girl losing her hymen). This is very similar, yes this is the biggest pay I even seen for an act like this, is scandalous but is a lot of money, she can get a ticket to a place where no internet is found and live peacefuly for a long time while the outrage and the bullying is happening around the world.

Posted in: U.S. takes to TV, YouTube to quell Muslim anger See in context

To far the massive media is losing respect for both religion, authorities and even people privacy. I was in the plan to write how much the use of a camera can damage everything, from the single intimacy of a random person to the mutual peace between the countries. Is easy to take pictures or to film something that could be fun for someone, but not for the others. I just think, imagine if we have the cameras, iPods or any gadget to take pictures in the Victorian Era where the Queen was not only a Queen, was an Emperor to be respected, imagine what could happen in a French magazzine took pictures of any parent of Queen Victory naked or in few clothes taking vacation in any other part of the world. Yes, you can imagine a demand these days, but in that time, it could mean a war.

We are going to the extremes with the liberty to put anything on YouTube, this is leading to see how a single extremist guy is kicking the honeycomb without realising how many bees are inside and if the bees are poisonous or not (he did not know if these bees will attack other people around and if he himself has some kind of allergy). Ask for apologies? A good idea, but I think, that sometimes is good to say until what point we must limit the right to express our ideas.
