I´m not sure if Japan is planning to change some laws and prepare other things because the eyes of the world will be in Japan. Many issues that comes to my head like from hundreds of thousands of visits, I bet many people will think is not so bad idea to bring some weed, specially youngsters from countries where is tolerated or legal. If things are like today, expect a mass detentions while intl media bring the subject of detentions for weeks before any charge. Or with so much media will be golden time for protesters in Taiji The possibilities are limitless for a big headache for Japanese politicians.

There is another possibility, Japanese usually don't tip, unproffessional waiters will prioritize customers that they think will tip regardless of race.

Is curious to read many people blaming the victims mother and nobody seems to even mention the murderers parents role in all this.

A performer is a product. The promoter sells that product. The guy was a different product before confessing and after. When he decided to confess, he must knew that after that he would lose fans, therefor sell way less tickets, he is acountable for that legaly.

In my experience as a Mexican, as stereotypes, nationalism and racism goes, Japan is heven compared with places like Tecas or Arizona. I don't get it why some Americans (note "some", I don't stereotype) make so much fuss about japanese while there is a lot of similar things to polish at home.

I funny to see the double standards of some americans. Imagine if the Mexicans complain about stereotypes, how many advertisements of caucasians wearing mexican hat, mustache and eating taco or wearing a lucha mask, can you see in a daily basis? Not mentioning middle eastern stereotypes used in many ads. Come on, drop the double standards.
