That's not social distancing. Social distancing is not only avoiding direct contact with people, but its also avoiding indirect contact, AND keeping at least 2 meter distance from others. 

Avoiding direct close contact is the goal of "social distancing". Indirect close contact, such as walking past someone without speaking, is not so much a risk. The virus is mainly spread via air vapors emitted from our mouth when we talk or cough, and our nose when we sneeze. Directly engaging people face to face within 2m is the main way it's spread.

Economies and currency are indeed made by people. It replaced the barter system. If you want to quit your job, donate all your money to charity & go back thousands of years to doing everything yourself then be my guest. Hope your hunting and carpentry skills are good or you won't have a house and constantly be on the verge of starvation. May as well cancel your JapanToday subscription as the electric company won't like you not paying your bills. Of course this was said tongue in cheek :-)

Much more expensive than the much decried hydroxychloroquine without much better results. Of course the drug companies want a new designer COVID drug to sell you at a high price with nasty side effects.

Most people in NYC did not vote for Trump and are polar opposites. This is just a failure on the part of NYC residents who feel wearing a mask is somehow taking away their unique presence in this world and they will be asking for federal $$$ soon enough. It is complete and utter foolishness.

Agreed. Language meaning and annunciation policy enforced is troubling. In USA - NIGG is ok to use if you are of a certain racial/socio-economic label, but NIGGE is absolute hate. Truth is that it's the same word annunciated differently and either version is same word.

The British English word "pumps" has a different meaning than the one used in the post. A court shoe (British English), coort shoe (Scottish English), or pump (American English), is a shoe with a low-cut front, or vamp.

Yes there is a lot of difference in language around the world! The brits also refer to cigarettes as "fags" LOL

People are stuck at home bored, so yes, FB traffic has increased. There's also the mindless masses turning to social media for "news", which is like hanging out on the ghetto street corner talking to people about how to best invest your money...
