Look people I know that pretty much all you want to jump for joy for winning the seat, but Moore was a horrible candidate. Jones at best will the equivalent of Olympia Snow in Senate, if he honestly wants to try and keep the seat. Most likely though the democrats will use him for the remainder of the term torpedoing as much they can with his vote. Next election the seat reverts. The GOP will still most likely lose some seats next election possibly the Senate, but please don't equate this win with some Progressive shift in the South. You look like fools.

@Virtuoso. They mean the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.) It is the capitol of the U.S. It is a special territory and not part of any U.S. state.
