Posted in: Symbols stand as reminder of disaster for future generations See in context

This incident has made me feel all the people in Japan should keep it in memory and pass it down to next generations. In order to make it possible for them to remember this tragedy, we all the Japanese have to remember it, and try to continue taking any action to pass down the calamity. Whether or not victims want to forget this tragic things, we have to go ahead to reconstruct Japan, looking on the bright sides, trying to rise above the toughness, and gazing at the light at the end of the tunnel.

I feel like people seeing the man hit by train had had a big trauma or something...For me I really do not like to see that kind of scene.

I feel like the man could choose the other way of killing himself because that way of doing it is making a lot of people get traumatic and put a lot of burden on staff engaged in a train.

Posted in: 3 women arrested for operating massage parlor offering sex services See in context

As many people here say, sex offering services themselves are not the bad things. However, though whether or not it is true, Japanese laws try to protect women's sexual rights regardless of their will. That is, the services like sex offerings often cause problems like illegal porn, rape, and so on, between men and women which are subject to this matter. In order to prevent this, it is radical to ban women from providing that services, and men from getting the services. If there were no crime like illegal porn, rape, and so on, women would have the rights to do it.

This year a lot if new strains of viruses are provoked...

I think that this new type of the flu has also been influenced by COVID-19. That is, originally existing flu has been united with COVID and the new strain of flu has come up. If so, COVID-19 will become the cause of a lot of unexpected, unprecedented diseases.

Because a lot of companies are interconnected through complicated transactions, problems because of COVID-19 have much serious effects on them with each companies linked. This domino effects or chine reaction makes the problems much more bigger exponentially, I think.

So unique! I have never Kabuki either in a theater or on TV, but this is really interesting to me. I feel that other traditional culture or products should incorporate something new or innovative like VR or AR into themselves so that they can be known to various people as part of important Japanese tradition and be descended to next generation.

Posted in: Gov't eyes punishment for refusal to comply with COVID-19 measures See in context

The Suga administration is also eyeing a revision to the special measures law on the coronavirus that would enable the government to fine businesses that fail to comply with its requests to shorten their operating hours or temporarily close.

If so, companies like restaurants should go bankrupt because the government so far does not say it guarantees the security of their activities. They have to pay back their liabilities to banks, landlords, and so on even though they have been losing the large amount of sales due to the situation, so they may well not be convinced of this law unless the government copes with how to help them while imposing the law on them.

with people more stressed and worried about life as the coronavirus pandemic forces them to spend more time at home

It's true that this kind of situations are now mandating us to stop a lot of things like a job, but I think that it surely won't be the reason to abuse other people. It's in the situation that we have to cooperate with each other, not abusing others causing them to feel depressed.
