The rest are almost as bad, but Japan takes the cake for not even jawboning about controlling inflation. Yes, the others are lying, but at least they have the market fooled for now.
Here they are so reluctant because to even talk about hiking rates will crush the governments budget......

These people are just ridiculous. They are now going to buy yen to somehow prop it up. We just had a 9% CPI print in Japan and still they have stupidly easy monetary policy and rate curve controls.
Abenomics coming home to roost.

Yes prostitution is rife in China, as it is in most East Asian countries. Has been since forever.
Difference in China is that CCP wants to avoid a slide into celebrity and (as they see it) debauchery as lodestones for societal development.

Poor the UK. Her Maj passed, a new (not very impressive so far) PM, ridiculous fiscal measures to "help with the cost of living" but which will actually make things worse, currency going down the tubes.
At least the cricket team and women's football team doing ok.

Yes, a bit of trolling is enough to bring down democracy.
Way more than silencing and arresting one's political opponents, for example.
Thinking that these 2 thugs are getting more powerful is not the same as worshipping them. And accepting that some of the recent measures taken by the West have been pretty dumb is not the same as taking Purtin's side.

Its funny how some people think that being the head of the second strongest army in Ukraine makes you some kind of player at the international level.
Not only armies make you strong. control over energy? Manufacturing most of what Americans consume? Strategic minerals? Having the support of the governments who lead the majority of the world's population?
I don't like either of these thugs, but poor leadership and decision making in "the West" has made them much more powerful than they were just a year ago......
