Posted in: Japan to allow use of insulin syringes for COVID-19 vaccines See in context

For those that don't understand, basically when you finish injection there's usually a little left in the syringe, the so called 7-shot syringe have very little "dead space" such that with the miniscule amount saved from all the 6 shots you have enough left for the 7th shot.

Posted in: Swiss voters narrowly back ban on full face coverings in public places See in context

I'm mixed with this, while i have no issues with them covering up when they are outside but if they ever enter an establishment i feel the owner of an establishment have the rights to dictate to a certain level that does not violate the national laws to protect their establishments.

It is also why most high security locations and financial establishments do not allow sunglasses as it weakens their security protocols.

So i'm kind of against the law but the law should be tweaked to allow establishments to dictate to a certain extend so their security cameras can fulfil the role of protecting the people inside.

While it looks like he's doing good in the greater sense, he should really help relocate the animals instead of staying there as it unnecessarily creates a separate problem that others will have to manage.

Why take risks and eat at the restaurant, if you want to support the business just order as take out.

There have been cases of poor ventilation causing clusters, so why take the risks especially when the new variants have been proven to be more efficient with infecting.

Posted in: Parents of bullied teenage girl who committed suicide commission portrait to 'attend' Coming-of-Age Day ceremony See in context

Despite the many responses of her not wanting to be with the bullies, i personally think it is good as it sends a very strong message and triggers everyone who is attending the ceremony be it the classmates, bullies and teachers.

I feel that not talking about it and sweeping it under the carpet is more disrespectful to her and to those who may be facing this culture right now.

Whether the comments are positive or negative it has definitely played its part bringing up the conversation and hopefully saving someone cause it made someone think twice.

Posted in: NTT Docomo to lower large data usage fees under gov't pressure See in context

The cheaper options only started a few years back as well.

The problem with some of these "contracts" that people are stuck with tend to be a multi service bundle with TV and fixed line Internet.

It is good that this is being accessed lots of other countries have the same issues as infrastructure do not allow foreign competition leading to this possible "price fixing" amongst the monopoly vendors.

Regardless of whether he's famous or not, businesses have the responsibility to keep people safe.

It is no different from standard workplace safety where you need everyone to observe safety protocols just that in this case the protocols are new.

While many are saying it is their right but not so in a place of business.

Not sure if this hotel did it but most hotel bookings nowadays have stated the need to wear masks.

If you don't abide then you basically breach the contract and the hotel have every right to evict you if required.

If you haven't pay for it then the item is technically not yours.

What if for some reason your credit card doesn't work, somehow you forgotten to bring your wallet or that it was stolen along the way?

I think people needs to have some restrain, i don't think you are that thirsty that you can't even wait a few minutes.

Civility is what keeps order, if everyone were do it then it would cause lots of inconveniences as the cashier would be confuse whether the food item is still safe given that they do not know that you have consumed it.
