It isn't just toilet paper running out, i think media partially has to be blamed as toilet paper running out makes a good clickbait news headlines.

I'm going to guess that part of the reason is also because toilet paper takes up so much shelf space such that just a few being gone makes it seem like it is running out very fast.

The best response would be to provide him a mask rather than shouting at his face, if you get uncomfortable just move seats.

However i would advise someone whose coughing without masks to probably avoid seating during this extreme periods as it inconveniences others since they need to change seats because of you.

I thought Japan being a high bidet use country would use less toilet paper.

Guess I was wrong.

I'm just going to use water and soap if mine runs out, not going to die from it.

At least LINE itself wasn't hacked. Phishing occurs at a regular basis across all platforms.

Definitely necessary, events are difficult to contact trace as shown in the singapore Hyatt cluster.

Everyone living in Japan, good luck.

It is an outbreak waiting to happen, i doubt any of the Japanese on board will self quarantine.

Somehow only Japan thinks that ship quarantine is successful.

Good luck everyone, be prepared for widespread COVID in Japan.

Good luck people.

Basically Japan is letting a ship load of failed cruise quarantine out on the streets.

I think hotels only need to take precautions such as providing protective equipment for their staff, increasing cleaning on common surfaces and maybe even changing the buffet style breakfast to an order based etc.

Pushing unnecessary information will cause fear.

Posted in: Cruise ship virus cases jump to 175, including quarantine officer See in context

I think Japan need to rethink this, at first it might be a good idea due to the amount of people and likely lacking in quarantine facilities.

But I'm starting to think that there's cross infection occuring.

Posted in: 66 more people confirmed with coronavirus on cruise ship in Yokohama See in context

I think the Government needs to start taking swabs around the ship to see if there's any contamination around the ship, especially those on the balcony. Won't be surprised if someone's cough is getting onto someone else's balcony due to the strong winds. When i see the people out on the balcony, beside each other divided by only a partition feels like a possible vector for infection.

As to letting everyone offboard, i don't think there's space in Japan to quarantine 3600 people. With that said Japan really needs to start thinking ahead and build quarantine centers to prepare for the worse.

I don't think there's anywhere that have banned China, but lots of countries have stopped all flights coming in from Hubei. The rest of China is still being closely monitored.

@mrbaberunee Well there's definitely a much higher risks, airport is a place where people from different places gather. Depending on date you fly might get additional screening depending on the situation at that time.

These notices are there for a reason, i would avoid it if possible given that the situation in China isn't in control yet.

If you want it to block completely you'll need n95 masks, do get one with ventilator otherwise it gets really uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise these masks will suffice for prevention.

@Yubaru it brings inflation but it helps those in poverty. That income given can mean life and death to some. The money also provides mobility as people who are in barely making ends meet can spend more time in self improvement.

There will definitely be people who abuse or misuse it but that's will be a separate problem to solve.

Part of the problem is with the packaging, those "cut up" blocks are still too large.

Yes i know that they can still stick together but selling it at that size and presume people will cut it smaller isn't going to cut it.
