xenophobia?

it is a strange word to me. foreign researchers just are treated as others. they are not supposed to be favorably treated. if they think they are previleged people, which is a wrong idea or something else. if a japanese researcher enters the US, which requires vaccination manadate or other requirments. It shows each coountry has each requirement for quarantine.

One more important issue that has faced Mr. Kishida is how to response to Ms. Akagi's suspect and many people's doubt about the involvement of some of cabinet members then.

Japanese election system is not fair! it is very favorble for the current ruling party. Basically this election campaign period was too short for general public to consider which party or canditate is good to us. However, LDP, the largest party was able to make the campaign much longer thatn oposition parties in the name of presidential election. In US the campaign is one year, in Philipines it more tha 6 months. The only two weeks' campaign period is not appropriate for dimocratic election, which just contributes to maintain current ruling canditate. We, Japanese voters shoud know this fact.

I am totally mad at the people or media that are always criticizing Mr. Komuro because of his mother's problems. They love each other and Ms. Maco san left the Imperial family. In addition to that, to be fair Mr. Komuro is very industrious and diligent and endurable and smart with the qualification of a legal expert. He is very suitable husband to our former princess Mako. Congratulations of their wedding from my deepest heart.

Japan isn't independent from the goernment as other countries including Korea or US. So, then government decided to accuse Gorn and the related executives for some political reason. I think there is too much discretion of interpreatation of the criminal law! Also, police's hearing is to be awful because suspects are forced to confess the guilty. That's a pitty.

Posted in: Kishida fills ruling party key posts with Abe allies See in context

Mr. Abe should step down from the power of the goverment. I guess that one of the strong reasons why he stick to the controling the next goverment is his threat that the next govermnet may start a reinvestigation into his MORIKAKE scandal. Its issue is a big and imortant agenda for the next national election.

simon gToday  09:39 am JST

Japan has a terrible history of aggression and offensive invasions. None of those killed abroad were protecting anything except colonial ambition.

It is not fair only taliking about Japan's colonaization. how about the western nations' long lasting colonaization?

Hi everyone, i would like to let you know the very fact that most of the rank and file people had been against the war, but they could not help going to the battle fields as a soldeir. they were also victims of the war.

Abe and Takaichi, who are top rank Japanese politicians, still look supportive to this war. it is a scarry.

I believe that some military officials and some politician did begin the war just because of their benefits and fames in the name of national security and love-Japan sprits, which seem to a kind of same things as Abe and Takaichi are arguing today!!!

As a Japanese,or human, I can't overlook the issue.

i do'nt think Mr. Sagawa, a cheif finance Dept. tempered with the public document in favor of Mr. Abe by his own himself.

We should summon Mr. Sagawa to Diet to investigate it,

Taked still now has not revealed what it is inside the vacination, which is strange to me bec they have many labs and are able to analyse easily what kinds of the material. It should be experdited so that other victems would not occur!

Posted in: If you live in Japan and haven't already been tested for the coronavirus, do you wish to get a PCR test? See in context

the question may not be appropriate because some people still want to take PCR test although they have already taken it before for other reasons. so this figure is misleading, which may exclude the people who still want to take the test,

My late father were in the labor camp in Siberia at the end of the war. He was able to come home luckily, but the aftereffects form working there had plauged him for the rest of his life until the death 8 years ago.

i have heard from him that it was so hard and hash to him! please note it is not the only Japan that forced the foreign workes to engage in tough jobs during the war!

Things came from Japan's medicine association! the gov. led by LDP has a close tie with that association, so they are listening to the doctors sides. This is a real reason that the number of clinics and hospitals is not increasing enough to soften emergency.

it reminds me of the past War II because Japan entered into the war whithout considering the risk of the degeat instead, going into it with upsurge of feeling. The government think that people will forget about the risk of Cov-19 because of euphoria.
