Why do they even have crosswalks in this country. The drivers here are so impatient and never stop for anyone.

Just went through here in Shiga...when the brunt of the storm went through, I for once was glad to have those rattling rain shutters on my house! I had at least an inch of hail in the front yard!

I am looking forward to watching the news and seeing all of the people who think using umbrellas in typhoon like winds is a good idea. You would have thought they would learn by now

In front of a dentist office parking lot there was a sign that said " No trespassing, unless you have big boobs" very professional! T-shirt "Btch on Carnival" and how can I forget "The fing sale" in Osaka

Posted in: 3.11 - WHAT WERE YOU DOING THAT DAY? See in context

I was on the west side of Biwako in Shiga prefecture in a hardware store. Thought I was having a dizzy spell and going to be sick, then noticed my husband was having a dizzy spell as well. Looked up and the signs were slowly swaying. There was no shaking, just swaying like being on a boat. Everyone in the store looked confused, then went on with their shopping.

Both adults and kids need to learn to stop picking their nose in flu season, learn to cover their mouth when they cough, and wear a mask.

The type going around is the most common type A, which is included in the flu vaccine. The flu feels like living hell..I would pay if there is a chance to not get it, or if the symptoms are less severe if contracted..worth it to me.
