""OK world out there you buy our Japanese exports & we will return the profits to Japan & invest it appropriately for you, now leave us the hell alone, thank you for buy Japan goods!""

I just want to congratulate GW for his post. It is so funny !!! I know plenty of Japanese behaving like this !!!

We know what we are losing. Do we really know what we are getting in exchange ?

griff, this is very sad for Japanese women indeed. But I doubt that those tiny skirts would make things better. They just reinforce that negative image Japanese men have about women ... I do not have the solution either ...

I just wanted to say that they obviously want to be attractive. So they should not be surprised to attract all sorts of guys.

Well, this is a kind of neverending discussion. I find Japanese girls really provocative with their skirts and short pants. I really think that they are looking for problems.

There is a big question of mentality. Japan will be attractive for foreign investor when Japanese people will stop seeing foreign countries as territories for arrogant commercial conquests. They should treat foreigners with less contempt and much more open-mindedness, as equals in commercial negociations. This is my perception, despite the "Japanese cultural exception".

Cruelty to animals is punished in some countries. There are inevitable experiments on animals carried out by industries, in order to test products before being used by human beings. But there is no need to torture animals on behalf of luxury goods. This is a very sad story and people, not only Kim Basinger, should be aware of it.

One comment at least : sometimes I regret that these pictures are not of better quality in terms of pixels. This one would have made a wonderful wallpaper. Unless Japan Today doesn't want us to use their photos. That's too bad, because they would become even more popular on the web with such an idea.

Don't you think ?
