Pointing at gaijin whenever anything out of the ordinary happens has long been a tradition here.eg.when a Japanese national is arrested with illegal drugs, all they need to say is that they got them from a gaijin on the streets and they would be let off with a slap on the wrist.Naming a Japanese would mean that he/she would have to take them to the Japanese pusher/dealer.

Meanwhile, the J cops would raid the named streets and harass any gaijin they come across.

The U.S.should take all the refugees.

They went into Afghanistan 20 years ago and now that the strategy has hit a dead end,it's time to pull out and abandon things, give asylum to only a select few and tell other countries to take in the rest and clean up the mess?

I know there are people who support the U.S on this forum whether the U.S.does good or bad but the whole world can clearly see that this is a complete mess and the U.S.gvt should take full responsibility.

I've said it before jhat being industrialized is not being developed. You can have as many factories as you can but that does not equate to being a developed nation. There're snd many countries that do not have the same number of factories but have much happier societies. This woman and her baby should have been saved but instead they denied her help. What kind of society is that?

Very sad. After living in Japan for more than 24 years I've observed somethings in the society.

1.Cup is very clean on the outside. But inside..?By this I mean Japanese people mind a lot about outside appearance and will do anything to protect that but on the inside, there's a huge problem.

2.Gvt and media have done an excellent job brainwashing the populace that Japan is the best country in the world. Many Japanese people keep on asking me whether I love Japan etc expecting me to reply that I love everything about Japan, but when I reply that there are things I like and things that I don't like, they get surprised.

Many Japanese people think that they live a good life but when I compare to many of my friends overseas, life here is miserable.Life here is a virtual robot, die sad, alone and miserable or get killed by a family member who is tire of taking care of you.

What's the difference between Japanese system and North Korean system?NONE.

Japan has been trying to mobilize the international community, the U.N.and even pleading with the U.S.to sanction North Korea for abducting and mistreating Japanese nationals but the Japanese are doing exactly the same. They murdered Wishma and and the only purnishment the officials get is a reprimand?Unbelievable.

This is so sickening of Japan.A Japanese wife only needs to rush to the whoever and say anything and they will believe her religiosly.I have so many friends who are in the same situation.I can never trust the Japanese systems and vowed never to have kids in Japan. And most of this kids live miserably just so that the selfish J wife can go around bragging about the kawaii hafu to her friends.

Let me state this clearly. Most salaries in Japan are below 250,000 per month.

Just go to any hellowork or look at any kyujin.

237,000

190,000

220,000

Jikyu 1,150円,1,200円,残業25%up and zangyou is after 2200hrs.etc.

Those getting over 300,000 per month are in professional fields.

English teaching and combini baito are the same.Break down your monthly salary to number of days then hrs worked. You're getting shafted.Living from hand to mouth.

That's why you find yourself cursing, punching walls and swearing when you get back to your cardboard apaato after slaving the whole day while drinking cheap hapoushu and chuuhai.

Let's do some math here.Average salary in Japan is around 20 man for most people unless you work as a professional. The lucky ones sometimes get bonus.English teaching is about 25 man.

Subtract tax, rent, food, utility bills, miscellaneous and you have nothing left. And to make matters worse, many people slave till death living from hand to mouth.

If I had a chance to pull what the Tailors did..I would go for it.3 yrs in the slammer and maybe suspended for a mil $$$ what the heck..

Posted in: Biden urges G7 leaders to call out and compete with China See in context

Chinese boat already sailed.Rest of these G7 countries are trying to play catch up.

My Japanese company has recently been trying to enter markets in developing countries but the biggest shock to the Japanese employees who have had no clue as to what has been going on outside Japans borders is that every country they try to go to is awash with Chinese products.I know many people will hate to hear this, but quality of the Chinese products is quite good and reasonably priced.Japanese strategy has been to try and convince the importing side how high the quality of their products are by trashing Chinese products.Unbeknownst to many is that this kind of mentality no longer makes the cut.

Again Japanese take forever before making a decision. They want to go in risk free.On the other hand,Chinese are on the ground living amongst the locals and even intermarrying.

Difficulty in penetrating these markets has now driven my Japanese colleagues from frustration,to desperation and finally to anger.

Some of the warnings and advisories by various gvt's are just political.

Since Brexit, other European countries have literally vowed revenge against the U.K.

I can bet that if let's say Russia or N.Korea were U.S.allies,their products would be flooding the U.S market and maybe we would have sputnik in Japan instead of Pfizer.

Years ago when I came to Japan as a student,I used to sing songs of praise about Japan tnd my family and friends.I used to invite them to visit Japan and used to go to my country with Japanese people and introduce Japanese businesses to my country.

But after living here for many years and seeing how foreigners are treated,I no longer sing the songs of praise and no longer invite my family and friends.

Infact my family and friends have noticed that and they've been asking me to pack up. I have a business here but I'm seriously planning an exit and relocate.

@Eisenach

Do you realise that a lot of Japanese nationals travel overseas on tourist visas but end up engaging in business, research, expos etc while on tourist visas?

I have worked with so many Japanese overseas who go on tourist visas but engage in different activities.

If gvt's overseas start cracking down on these kind of visas,a lot of Japanese people abroad would get in trouble.

Think before you spew nonsense.

@Kazuaki are you saying that visa those who overstay their visa should be murdered? Then just pray that a Japanese national does not get caught abroad.

This is murder and Japan as a country should no longer be respected internationally.

The system here is so barbaric.
