They need to allow JR Pass holders to obtain tickets using this app. Even if it does not allow you to get tickets until you arrive in Japan and exchange your Exchange Voucher for the actual JR pass, it would be a huge help by not requiring us to queue up at the counter every time we wish to book a train.
