but the problem is inflation may be easy as raising some tax or charging more, but salary increase is like asking for something impossible.

the good thing here is at least it;s in the bank, not in some other person's bank account or private properties like the corruption happening in 3rd worlds. Philippines' Haiyan victims until now are suffering and the money and food donated by the whole world were spent by politicians. How bad could it get for them!?

Posted in: Sony's quarterly loss balloons on mobile woes See in context

No candle lasts forever. Time to change business strategies in the Mobile Dept. Even Japanese people are not buying xperia anymore. I see more galaxy and iDevices here than Xperia. It may be because of high prices and not much attractive colors and design. I myself have a galaxy note and iphone because last time i had sony xperia my software is always lagging behind those from samsung. Sometimes not even given updates! That is the main reason why i left sony and went to Samsung for their up to date updates and colors! :D

Posted in: U.S. gov't pushes air bag maker Takata on replacement parts See in context

i wonder why if it's toyota they demand a recall, if it's a different brand they just let the owner discover the problem and let them bring the car themselves. I expereienced this once with Hyundai and Kia about engine knocking issue. They are aware that there was an error in the Engine's computer chip but they did not do a recall. They waited until my friend's car had a knocking sound and damaged engine before they replaced the Computer Box. So this is actually good for Toyota to be taking responsibility and not making excuses like other car manufacturers. And why only in US? We have lots of Toyota here in Japan and all airbags are from Takata so why only in US? Also about the past gas pedal issue, only the US experienced such problem.

Posted in: Twitter hammered on growth fears See in context

i dont even know why twitter is so popular. It's all messed up and i can't figure out how i'm gonna be up to date with all those tweets that just keep coming and flooding other tweets. I dont want to scroll down for hours just to find something interesting to read. Twitter should make something to make it easier for us, i only follow a few people but i cant stand reading all their tweets.

Posted in: Asia arms up to counter growing Chinese might See in context

i will choose not to boost my military forces if i were them. It's like taunting and preparing for war. Waste of tax money and effort to maintain all of them. If you want peace then drop all your weapons and use pen and voice to resolve conflicts! If China wont back down and becomes offensive, let the world do its job to defend the poor countries then. Phil and Viet doesnt stand a chance to ever equal the strength and money of China. IRL if you're physically weak, then use your brain and look for allies instead of building up muscles which will never be greater than your opponent.

Just saying that fire power isnt the solution for all these conflicts, humans just have to learn how to respect each other's territories

sometimes showing movies like this are not to promote hating on other country, instead to raise awareness that no matter what the past may be, we can all still be friends if we change... :) as Elsa once said, The past is in the past! Let it go!

i am happy to see this! Making smartphones and smart appliances even smarter! soon AI will be just "I" without the Artificial, it has its own intelligence already!

while US is building a lot of super computer networks to mimic the brain that requires tons of power, here we have a tiny chip powered merely by a cell battery... i don't understand anything! :D

Posted in: China food scandal drags in Starbucks, Burger King and McNuggets in Japan See in context

China, where money comes first, and health is not in their list. All they want is profit. They don't care if their products contains harmful chemicals like found in toys, powdered drinks, and stuff. They don't even care if the world knew about it because they know people would still buy their craps because it's cheap! sadly that's what's happening now especially in 3rd world countries. Even here in Japan we import a lot of things and foods from China and we can't stop it because we can't produce enough for ourselves. Sad truth...
