From British perspective....

What's over the counter price of paracetamol and ibuprofen in Japan for 2 month supply?

薬局でアセトアミノフェンとイブプロフェンを二ヶ月分買うのは可能ですか?教えて下さい。

During my 2 weeks off

Watch Pythagoraswitch on TV and reenact by putting my kitchen apart.

Watch NHK and talk about news with kids.

Listen to music.

Stop paying for youtube and enjoy the magical computer algorithm. You might find adverts that will be pleasing.

Keep up with friends using social media and keep it real by giving them thumb up.

Look up lyrics on Internet for songs you always wanted learn and sing aloud.

If the song is in foreign tongue learn to roll the tongue in same manner and feel.

Eat lunch.

Life can't be that bad studying at home.

in between I will be taking paracetamol to get rid of headache that I was thinking about...

I think you children’s safety should be your priority!

absolutely right.

I imagine some adult will find it difficult to look after kids for 2 extra weeks. What's the plan on working parents who will be looking after them?

The company I work for issued guideline today (quite well written and timely I must add) to staffs. We can work from home but looking after kids at same time - difficult.

Has PM or education authority issued a guideline what kids and parents are supposed to be doing during their time off? Allowed to go to kouen to mix with friends? I don't know what kids are into but allowing them what they want to do uncontrolled (watch tv) is very dangerous.

I would take them camping.

So they should be thinking about Olympics quite seriously by now.

All in context of damage to the economy with fear in numbers.

What are we to do instead? Watch more TV and get bombarded with more fears and advertisement thrown in?

Play the Internet so clever computer can decide for you what you should be browsing next?

I will not be able to sit still at home as after a while as I will get bored and will want to go somewhere.... even when I have my stuff and family around me.

Cluster of illegal event might start to happen and could become even more difficult to contain.

US embassy Japan website used to contain data on child abductions to Japan but removed it.

Upon reading the news last week on two European fathers, I have checked :

Embassy of Japan in the UK - www.uk.emb-japan.go.jp

Information of 子の親権問題 can easily be found from the site but not in English. It is recognised as a problem. I also understand from friends that the embassy runs seminars(?) on this topic periodically and demand is quite high.

France, easy to find in Japanese. French, I do not know read French.

Germany, not sure....

I have written to the embassy (uk) to ask for possibility to make it more visible in English (web site) but no response.

Journalists, it might be worth doing checks on this and ask embassies why such important information is not available/translated into the local language.

This is the notice I recieved from my son's school.

Economically speaking it might become difficult to afford to pay rent should my wife and I need to take weeks off work.

If you have returned from the specific areas listed below since February 19 you should call NHS 111, stay indoors and avoid contact with other people even if you do not have symptoms:

If you or your children have returned from Northern Italy (defined by a line above, and not including, Pisa, Florence and Rimini), or other countries where reports of coronavirus have been reported since February 19th and which are not on the list above, should you or they develop any symptoms including fever, a cough or shortness of breath, however mild, you should stay indoors at home and avoid contact with other people immediately.

•                    You should stay indoors and avoid contact with other people as you would with other flu viruses

•                    You should call NHS 111 immediately to be assessed by an appropriate specialist, as quickly as possible

•                    Pupils feeling unwell should stay at home and should not attend school. Adults should stay at home and not go to work.

•                    You should not go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment

•                    If you require emergency medical attention, call 999 and tell the call handler or ambulance control that the person has a history of recent travel to risk areas for COVID-19

The letter end by parents to check Internet for the latest information on gov.uk/guidance/novel-coronavirus-information-for-the-public

It seems we all like to watch tv and be moved from am when our mind is still fresh.

More caring society by support given locally than by institution I agree is way forward.

when we are old, who will be looking after us?

What a joyful picture to go with this article :-)

"The National Institute of Infectious Diseases suggested that people who had been under control for 14 days, tested negative and were given final approval about their health, can use public transport. And I made the final judgement (to go ahead with the policy)," the minister said

that he sees no need to quarantine Diamond Princess passengers who tested negative

The minister Mr Kato is making sense.

Work closely with your ministers please PM and get it right with China as spring planting season will start soon.

Hosting the game in one city is so dated. It can’t be difficult for Economist to work out why. IOC should updated and host games in several cities every 4 years to spread the Olympics wealth.

London should host London Olympics 2020. Not all events obviously but why not?

I would like to ask if we can do the marathon as prefer watching free events. In short time we better do something about the air quality prompt by banning all cars from London for when you do your policy.

Rest of the world cities leaders should follow Mr Bailey's generous proposal to people of Tokyo, Japan.

From the list of cities put forward, IOC needs assess with emphasis on Environmental concerns

to appoint host cities and NOC.

Infrastructure and hotels are already there and it should even out the air traffic by hosting in different location
