This was a tough time for Lennon since he was being followed around 24/7 by the FBI under Nixon's orders. It was a major strain in his life.

Funny, no one had much of a problem with him until he made a speech about how the pharmaceutical companies and the psychiatrists are heavly medicating many millions of our children with psychotropic drugs. Within 36 hours of that speech over 800 shows on USA television across the country found a way to call him crazy, even if they were cooking or weather shows. Some one didn't like that speech. BTW..One of the main proofs he was crazy.....he kissed his fiancee on the Red Carpet, Oh My !!! He has been under constant media attack ever since. I don't care about his private life, I don't care if he's a great or fair actor. The media attack on him scares the crap out of me and dampens my hopes for the future of our country on this 4th of July.

Except the 'New Oil' found is much harder to retrieve from down below than it was. Squeezing oil out of rocks takes more energy and money than simply pumping it out of the ground. Even Saudi Arabia is starting to drill offshore, 3 1/2 times the price of drilling and pumping on land.

Simon, a billion is a thousand million.

1 million = 1,000 x 1,000 1 billion = 1,000 x 1,000,000 1 trillion = 1,000 x 1,000,000,000

All numbers too big to see clearly in our minds.

Posted in: Prosecutors: Zimmerman ignored warning to back off See in context

First point . Trayvon's body was found closer to his house than to Zimmerman's car. If as Zimmerman first stated, that he was almost back to his car when attacked. (a place 20 yards away from being able to even see the car). Then how far did he follow Trayvon? A second point, it was 2-3 minutes from the time Zimmerman lost sight and fired the shot. If you look at a map of the complex you would see that it would be hard to be out of sight for more than about 10-15 seconds. Third point, Zimmerman was not on patrol. He was also returning from the store. He lived in the opposite back corner. But still was carrying a gun and was not an official or registered Community Watch officer or captain to begin with. Remember, he was self appointed. Forth point, According to the State of Virginia, Zimmerman's father was the Judicial Magistrate of the Supreme Court there from 2000 to 2006 (7 years). A very powerful position, don't know how many judicial positions it took to get there.

Are these all indisputable facts, hard to say the way this case has gone. They are the closest I have seen so far though.

Gurukan, that's 10 seedlings (small plants) and she donates a lot of money to various relief groups. The seedlings were symbolic mostly, a gift of hope for the kids there. I congratulate her work there. Well done Cyndi!!

Posted in: Latin American leaders question Calif move to legalize marijuana See in context

Sure sounds to me like they are afraid of lost sales revenue (billions$). If we in the USA were to legalize drugs and return control back to the medical profession then drugs dealers would lose all their business and go broke fast. Also the savings in court costs, incarceration, police resources etc would be in the 100's of billions of $ USD. The prohibition most likely has nothing to do with peoples health to begin with.
