Hey, here's a hint, maybe don't push your allies with threats first ? You know how the saying goes ? Hold your friends hand, and hug your enemies.

In stock market, there's circuit breaker to stop trading when sudden increase or decrease happen. Should make a law to build the same for SNS, over 20 shared posts in a second, stop spreading.

Of course the lizard zucker won't let it happen.

Such hypocrite, China got rich through protectionism policies, without it they will be no Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, etc.

Two decades ago was the time to be "Alarmed".

Today is the time to panic and start swallowing bitter medicine that this problem is never going away.

Toyota's hybrid engine is so complicated, they open sourced it, and no one dares to replicate it.

Physical art will be a thing again. Oil painting, stone carvers, carpenters, paper-related industries. It's gonna renaissance age again, but this time it's the whole world.

Let's make giant statues again! Like the Colossus of Rhodes!

Posted in: Japan has economically prospered as older generations worked extremely hard after the war’s end. I am hoping to convey a sense of unity shared by Japanese society from that time to my fellow folks in Ukraine. See in context

Japan has close to zero natural resources, you either work or you go hungry, "working hard" didn't end up too well in Japan. Ukraine on the other hand, has plenty of natural resources, be like Norway or Saudi Arabia, build strong defense and allies.

Where does the government allocates budget ? Foreign countries infrastructure, instead of fixing the ones at home.

showed participants were influenced more by illiberal narratives.

When the mainstream media has shown, time and time again, that they're liars and information suppressors, then people will start looking for other sources of media.

"illiberal", is that a new word they try to make it sounds bad ? Like Populism ? Democracy after all is a government "of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE".

Express concern, while laughing behind everyone "scare people away and keep the job for myself, 150万 free money monthly for miscellaneous expenses, muahahaha!!!".

Posted in: Dissatisfaction toward fiscal policy has appeared in the form of economic protests that were rare in Japan. See in context

As usual "politically correct" comments.

Whether this is a result of fake news or what not, I'm not sure, I'm not an expert, but the sentiment is a fact. People are dissatisfied because everyday, they read the news that Japanese governments are giving money to foreign countries and immigrants, while they're struggling.

I give you an example, gasoline price is double taxed, government was supposed to remove the tax a long time ago, but every time the government says "it's not possible". How about reduction of consumption tax, nope.

Time and time again, the Japanese population get another "proof" that the Japanese government will sacrifice the population to squeeze every yen of tax and then give out those taxes to foreign countries and immigrants.

J-gov needs to do something or it will just create a Japanese MAGA movement.

It's funny to me how the population of "non-organic" Japan is actually one of the longest living people on Earth.

If you want organic, simply visit any of the JA stores. Plenty of them if you visit suburban areas, most veggies sold there are produced locally.

Because nukes will blow all the computers and excel files away, wiping all proofs of your "wealth".

But, don't be fooled by Gold sellers. By selling Gold, they are still demanding Cash. Why would they want Cash if the end is really near ?

To all Japanese fellows, do you still believe the US will keep its "promise" for the US-Japan security pact ?

The time for Japan to re-arm was a decade ago, second best time was yesterday.

Well, 5 pieces of sardines are still 300yen at AEON, every weekend I buy 10 of them, pressure cook them, there's very little smell because the smelliest parts, the innards, were cleaned by AEON. Cheap natural omega-3 for the kids, I have no complaints.

Posted in: If a worker uses different apps to do jobs at different sections of the same company, it will be difficult for that company to obtain an accurate grasp of that individual’s working hours. See in context

Famous people promoting baito-app are really predators. They're supporting the disintegration of "full-time employment system", promoting unstable employment while they themselves have economic stability only few can have. Worst even, snakes like Takenaka Heizo has his wealth in many of these "job-searching/matching" companies. He's part of the group that wants to destroy full-time employment and make Japan a gig-economy.

Posted in: What do you think of U.S. President Donald Trump's suggestion that Nippon Steel invest in U.S. Steel rather than buy it? See in context

Let's think about it, buying stocks of a company is called "investing" no ? When you "invest" enough and become the majority shareholders, you now own the company no ? That's literally capitalism 101.

But, if Trump prefers the term "invest", we'll play along!

30kg rice early 2023 was around 10000yen, I bought close to 100kg and stored it.

Reading this article, 30kg rice is now 25000yen, 25% increase.

Again, I ask all the "expert economists", if my wage increase 5%, and inflation is 5%, how much increase in savings can I make ? 0%

What's the point of inflation if I can't increase my net-worth through increasing my savings year-on-year ?
