congrats to apolo anton ohno and j.r. celski!!! i've been a fan of apolo's ever since the salt lake city olympics!!! he's half japanese, so he makes me proud even though he represents USA.

and then, all of a sudden a conspicuous group starts BOOING the j-team as it usually happens during the Olympic Games.

I totally agree. More asians need to be proud of how they look. I think asian girls are beautiful and unique in their own ways. it's funny how the media has such a strong influence on how people perceive of beauty.

So where are the Asian male models? Sheesh.

i don't think guys in japan think jessica is that pretty. i think japanese guys go for more "cute" girls like ueto aya. foreign guys will probably think jessica is really hot or whatever. japanese guys and foreign guys have very different tastes.

well japanese companies should have japanese people at the top. i don't understand what the deal is here. it's pretty obvious. egalitarian? you can't expect any equality in the hierarchical structure of economic systems.

She is an absolutely gorgeous woman, who is also a talented singer and dancer. I just wish that she would put on some weight to have a fuller figure, because she is a role model for a lot of young Japanese women.
