Posted in: Report: Germany top buyer of Russian energy since war began See in context

according to the latest news and if I got it right, RuSSia refuses payment for gas in rubles by the German government. So, no money, no gas! Germany has to make a fast decision on what to do from now. It's a little too late already, what can they come up with?

Blacklabel, agree with you on this one:

Yes of course Germany is.

they choosing not to make their own people suffer while falsely claiming they are hurting Russia instead.

But this one:

He was always right.

always. Proven more and more as time passes. (Trump)?

I believe Putin and Zelensky both have list their damn mind, to the point of dysfunctionality

As for the time being, I only see one madman with a deranged mind and that is Putin! He is going beserk, for an all-of-war, not bound to any restrictions, any laws, any rules!

Ashamed and embarrassed, all I can say.

When money reigns first, over human lives.

Scholz should get his act straight and enforce an embargo.

Many other politicians in Germany say the same.

Get over some "minor" hardships" for a couple of weeks or months, thus saving hundreds and thousands of lives in Ukraine!

Just this makes me think and worry again:

"They also agreed in principle......"

In principle. Well, does Putin have principles except for the ones that benefit him?

Get those people out of Asovstal and reach a safe haven of their choice.

Not some GULAG where they will disappear very soon!

I believe Putin once I see the rescue actually happening.

Once again quite some Putin supporters here.

Putin started this aggression.

Limited operation were his words.

De-nazifying Ukraine, he said.

Fact: killing children, raping women, starving people to death, looting, threatening, deporting, and so on.

This is what a real dictator ala A. Hitler looks like. Putin must have read "Mein Kampf" well.

He is the reincarnation of evil, "something" the world doesn't want to see.

And there is only one way to get rid of evil - fight it with all means, with everything you have.

And this is exactly what Ukraine is doing, defending their country, defending their sovereignty, defending their freedom.

alive and well? Got any information confirming this from an independent source?

Or is it just assuming?

I for one assume, that if they're still alive they will be interrogated (tortured) and sent off to some distant place, probably some Gulag in Siberia to pay for their defense of Ukraine.

Glad that those Ukraine defenders are so strong and brave, resisting as much as possible those Russian marauders. And time will show who will be "the last men (and women) standing"!

Take a wild guess who this will be! As for me I'd put my bet on Ukraine, after all the misery, pain and everything else that has been imposed on them! Just my two Yen.

Posted in: Ukraine says Russia has shifted elite units to new battleground See in context

Interesting this, too:

"Also, Rustam Minnekayev, a senior Russian military official, publicly outlined Russian war aims that appeared to be wider than what the Kremlin has stated in recent weeks. He said Russia's forces aim to take full control of not just eastern Ukraine but southern too."

Hold it, wasn't their goal to free just a couple of places with Russian-speaking minorities from the beginning?

They (those Russian marauders and their leaders) are like an octopus ..... spreading out its arms to get whatever possible. Someone has to take care of those arms, cut 'em off!

Posted in: Ukraine says Russia has shifted elite units to new battleground See in context

Mercenaries from Libya and Syria ...

Trying to replace those marauders who have been sent back to Russia in body bags?

And Mariupol, at least Asovstal is still holding on, despite the hardship and misery imposed on them.

As is the whole of Ukraine, united in their will and strength to defend their homeland, to defeat those Russian marauders.

Lincolnman said what has to be said!

Most importantly this: "He must be stopped..."!

The man (Putin) and his marauders are insane!

Posted in: Japan to send masks, hazmat suits, drones to Ukraine See in context

Well, it is better than nothing, but very similar to what Germany did!

The Ukraine defenders don't need masks or helmets.

They need some real hardware, NOW, not tomorrow or next week!

But business as usual seems to be more important to some countries than saving the lives of thousands, helping to fend off those beasts, and give Ukraine a better future, without shelling, killing, destruction, rape, deportation and so on.

In addition you have this headline:

Russia says it launched mass strikes on Ukrainian military overnight

No, not on the military, but once again on civilians, infrastructure, railways, so evacuations can't happen, on residential areas, you name it.

It's about time to fight back and hit some of those Russian areas!

Victory, glory, freedom and peace for the people of Ukraine!

Posted in: Russia aims to take Mariupol as part of eastern Ukraine onslaught See in context

Whether they use chemical weapons or not still has to be seen.

However, one Ruski general already said they wouldn't risk their soldiers lives and "smoking" the defenders out would be much easier. So there you go.

They, those Russian aggressors don't care what kind of weapon they use, cluster ammunition, mines, you name it. They want to erase Ukraine and everything Ukraine stands for from the surface of the earth.

History does repeat itself, right!?

Just 20%? This is not enough!

"No company planned to pull out of the Russian market completely"

Way too many companies are still doing business with Russia, not just Japan.

If you want to hit Putin and his alike(s) hard, you should cease any business, marketing, selling, building, financing, you name it!

Oh, and by the way, what do you think about this:

" Russian soldiers were bragging about the hit on Telegram."

and this:

"....... messages, which included claims to have successfully obliterated “a crowd of Ukrainian militants at the Kramatorsk railway station,”

But I guess this once again is fake news in the eyes of the deniers. Maybe going there would help, because "Seeing is believing"!

V, Z, F or any other letters, who cares.

They are painted on Russia's tanks, APCs and so on, manned by Russians.

No need to deny that.

The missile, well Russians confirmed first that they fired 3 missiles in that general area.

Only after the high number of civilian casualties (shame on those Russian marauders) did they come up with some other bogues explanation. Typical Russian style? Or just trying to get away with that, too?

There is no excuse possible for the high number of deaths amongst the Ukraine civilian population! All committed by Russia and its so-called allies. Putin wants everything his way but he ain't gonna get it!

Posted in: Missile kills at least 52 at crowded Ukrainian train station See in context

Way too many innocent people got killed again.

And those here, who still blame Ukraine for this or that, look at the pictures provided by independent sources.

Besides, never forget who started this insane war! It was NOT Ukraine, despite what you want to say concerning the past couple of years. Russia is butchering those Ukrainians, they want to erase not just the country from the map, but everything that is connected to Ukraine (some Russian official guys said it and it can be easily found on the net).

Body bags en masse returning to Russia.

I do feel sorry for the mothers of those k.i.a.s.

I don't feel sorry for what happened to them after all the looting, killing, raping, and so on they did.

Will it teach Putin a lesson? I hope so!

Who really knows what's going on in Ukraine. One side accusing the other, but this all could have been prevented weeks ago. Fact is, the Russians are the aggressors and the ones who committed (most of) the war crimes.

Posted in: Mariupol's dead put at 5,000 as Ukraine braces for battle in east See in context

"The Kremlin has insisted its troops have committed no war crimes, charging that the images out of Bucha were staged by the Ukrainians."

That "staging" would require a lot of actors! The Russian dictatorship is trying to b.s. the world.

You won't succeed. Even trying to cremate and shred the bodies of those Ukrainians you butchered won't help you! (as reported by many, not just news agencies!)

You are found guilty of war crimes, of atrocities indescribable. You will (hopefully) be held responsible for all you have done. And the world will (hopefully) not forget.

It is of course a PR stunt to make the Japanese government look good, agreed!

But even a little helps, in this case bringing 20 Ukraine citizens to Japan, out of the marauder's area.

I am sure that most of the Ukrainians prefer to relocate to a western country, close to their homeland.

Similar culture, easier to communicate, maybe friends and relatives already present.

Hoping that the Japanese government will do more in the days and weeks to come.

They did happen, were committed by the Russian marauders.

What is wrong with those of you who still stand up for Putin and his regime?

Are you talking to people on the ground?

Guess not. Look at the pictures, the videos and reports - but that won't change your mind either.

fact, ya know like in f.a.c.t - to spell it out!

Or do you doubt the words of those on the ground?

Locals, reporters from foreign countries all state the same and the videos or pictures should be enough proof of what happened. But maybe those are all f.a.k.e. news/facts for some here.

Putin and his troopers will be in deep kimchi once this aggressor's war is over.

Murdering, raping, looting .... that's all they can. Shame on them.

And good for Kishida and Japan to finally make a point!

Also, please don't tell me those are biased reports, because they are not (fact)!

And they demand a UNSC meeting? They must be out of their mind!

Bring them to justice, but I'm afraid little to nothing will happen to those who "initiated" all this.

It will take more brave Russians than the ones we have seen so far, to get rid of that dictator.

There can't be peace and "harmony" as long as Put(a)in is in charge!

Ehime still in the 260+ range, for quite some time.

Don't agree with C.F. too often, but we should move on.

We have more (de-)pressing issues in the world right now.

Still, I hope that there won't be any major Corona increases again in the near (or far) future.
