If he was any sort of a man, he would invite only hot chicks.

That's so scary on so many levels, looks like the keystones are having a good run, good work.

Posted in: Off-duty cop arrests student for stealing bag to buy White Day present See in context

"The officer, who holds a 5th dan black belt in kendo, yelled at him to give up and the boy fled, but was caught hiding in bushes not far away."

LOLS! What are the odds of finding a real cop in Japan? I guess it wasn't this kids day, unfortunately he'll get off with a slap on the wrist.

Posted in: Do you support a ban on the trade of bluefin tuna? See in context

Japan should put a cultural spin to this and complain that it's traditional to bring species to the brink of extinction, so we can't tell them otherwise.

Wow! A revolution to turn the USA into a utopian state like Yemen, where do we sign up?

Posted in: Japan leading charge against bluefin ban See in context

Blaming western countries for this is completely stupid, most of the bluefin served in Japan is imported. If Japan doesn't agree with the ban, stick to fishing for bluefin in Japanese waters only. When stocks rebound, exclude Japan from bluefin trade, see how long it takes before they come crying.

"The demands of the job also wreak havoc on the girls’ attention span."

It's their attention span that's landed them there in the first place.

Posted in: Japan to push for resumption of commercial whaling See in context

As long as it's sustainable, I've no real problem with it, I won't be eating it for health reasons though.

Posted in: Japanese women go gaga over Buddha boys See in context

"Who ever thought Buddha, the guy who quit life, could be so sexy and successful?"

They've found a way of marketing all the losers out there. There girls are in for a big shock when they find their quitter isn't quite as enlightened as the real thing.

Did the men get caned? Nope! Shariah law has no place in the modern world.

Posted in: Mossad under fire over Dubai hit squad See in context

"now im even less sure that the mossad is involved. none of the people in the video,or in the pasports pictures could even resemble an israeli."

Why's that? Noses not big enough? Israelis come from many different countries, the jewish diaspora is vast.

Posted in: Dubai says Hamas man killed by European hit squad See in context

Names and photos have been released. These people and names look like they aren't just "passport holders" but genuine citizens from their countries. How the heck does a 33 year old Irishwoman end up working for Mossad?

I'm not going to say what she did wasn't wrong. However, the kids may have kicked up a massive fuss being torn away from the doggies and worn out Mom might've stupidly thought "I'll only be two minutes and he promised not to budge" We've all done stupid things in the past with no terrible results, this could've been one of those dumb moments that went horribly wrong. Just saying.

I wonder how many dogs are destroyed each year because nobody wants a mutt from the animal shelter?

Posted in: How well founded is Japan's gastronomic pride? See in context

Of course many traditional Japanese foods are some of the healthiest in the world. I think many people are confusing the modern diet and the traditional food. If we were all eating what the average pensioner farmer up in the hills is eating, that would be healthy, and delicious.

Less than one year old, probably not a new born then. It's quite possible that the ward office knows about this kid, they'll find the parent(s).
