Great security there America, way to go! The President sending his goons out as he's a bad loser now means America is on par with Belarus, how the mighty fall, it's hilarious!

Lebanon are doing them a massive favour by holding their passports, as they're actually ensuring they don't get arrested elsewhere.

“The numbers don’t lie,” Cardin said in a 1970 French television interview. “I earn more from the sale of a necktie than from the sale of a million-franc dress. It’s counterintuitive, but the accounts prove it. In the end, it’s all about the numbers.”

That explains why before I moved to Japan, I would see so many cheaply produced yet overpriced Pierre Cardin boxers and socks in the shops.

"I'm Donald Trump and I stand with Nancy, Bernie, and The Squad..."

What would Trump supporters do then...

I think at this point Trump would give his children to the devil if it meant he'd stay Potus and no one should be surprised about that except very very blinkered people.

Can someone tell me if petty Trump was actually fighting for 2000usd, or was perfectly fine with 600usd before he got voted out?

I must say I was really underwhelmed the first time I visited Akiba, I thought it would be something different to other Tokyo neighbourhoods. I think I've only been there 2 or 3 times in 15 years!

It's extremely foolish to give someone so petty that much power. Hopefully most of America now knows not to let the Trumps anywhere near the White House again, because if they do, America's best interests will be pushed even down the priority list behind self interest and petty score settling.

gaijintravellerDec. 26  01:37 pm JST

You hit the nail on it's head there. It's sad that JR and locals governments seems to only aspire to have identical station front areas. Surely more people would want to visit different neighbourhoods, being beneficial to JR, if they have some variety?

Sadly all JR and the developers care about is getting sky high rents, so that pushes many interesting independent joints out.

750 positive results from under 2,000 tests? Is it just me or does that seem like a very high percentage?

Because it's targeted testing of symptomatic people and others who have had contact with a positive case.

The other point relating to produce, is when big supermarkets started becoming more common during the 80s I feel shoppers began to lose touch with seasonal produce as so much bulk produce was being imported. If one thing can come from this, hopefully people will become more aware of using what local produce is available seasonally.

The thing is, there was all this talk of the strains in Europe, Lombardy Italy in particular being different to that found in China much earlier this year, yet Europe kept on travelling as people went on their summer holidays. It's too little too late.
