It's weird the way they use the word "owner" in Japanese baseball. I remember when he resigned as owner of the Giants. Usually that would mean that he actually owned the team and would then sell them to someone else but the way they used the term made it sound like just another position in the company. Either way this guy is the Dick Cheney of baseball.

Yes, because danceable songs were never popular during other eras in Japan. :-( YMO and other artists might have a problem with this assumption. Also, I believe Komuro's popular was more from early to mid 90s, not late-90s.

Actually no Richard. The US finished 6-0-1 (WLT) and Japan finished 6-1-0. The US did not lose any games.

Actually the Prince Rabbits still have the Asia League playoffs to look forward to so if you can, catch a game. Also, the rabbit logo is thankfully not pink.
