Yes, I’m in agreement with you and others here that have noticed the chronic decline over the years.

I find it strange though to see how many downvotes that your post has received.

Are there that large a number of people in denial and in total ignorance about what is happening in Japan?

There are plenty of people in Japan that could be taxi drivers but 200.000 yen a month for a full time job is not much of an enticement.

My taxes have helped pay for it and if I were to go then the admission fee and various other charges would be secondary charges-paying twice!

For over a year the cost of living has been increasing and my business costs have increased also.

The Osaka Expo is going to be a non event for me…

I have seen the disinterest of European police to investigate drug use, even when clear information was provided.

However, the police are more interested in stopping distribution, a positive.

Japanese don’t speak as much good English.

Pretty much a glaring mistake there!

However, unless there is a revamp of language teaching in Japanese schools then Japanese youngsters will never achieve any type of linguistic prowess that is common in Europe.
