@zichi: Where do you get good whole wheat flour and rye flour in Japan?

Tomizawa is also a good place to buy flour and other products for baking. There are many branches around Tokyo.

So he will resign, and an even older dinosaur will take his place! Welcome to Japan and the old boy's club. It happens in every industry here. When will they move into the 21st century?

"In Sweden, masks are not something that the authorities recommend, probably because it would prevent herd immunity."

Sweden and the other Scandanavian countries are amazing places. The have a first world lifestyle with excellent education, social programs, and healthcare. In short, they take care of their citizens and respect the international community. Sweden chose to follow a different route, but unfortunately, they made some mistakes. I respect them for trying something different with a new virus.

Good points @Speed

Large open spaces blocked off = checked

People are herding in clusters = checked

Pachinko parlors open = checked

= lack of common sense by the government.

People are not thinking seriously about this virus. Lots are outside as normal. 6500 at that K-1 event at Saitama Super Arena and all those people out for Hanami!! The flowers will come back next year people!!! They are also taking masks for granted. The mask help, but ARE NOT %100 EFFECTIVE.
