Very good post, tkoin2. The study is by all means poor. 300 people and by internet. Besides, it relates income with "dating" and "paying for sex". It does not consider "sex buddies", which may include more people, as women may see them as a nice man to have sex with but not to marry due to his income.

The taxis in Hiroshima are quite good: taxi drivers are helpful, the car is clean and they do the small things that make the difference: help you with the luggage, wait for you with the door opened, not speak on the phone nor see tv while driving, etc. I think Tokyo's traffic must make you crazy after a couple of years. But driving here is generally a nice experience...

I really dont see the point in touching a woman against her will. Its like believing all women love to be groped. I also smell something strange in this: the mix of miniskirts, police and the man letting the woman held his hand for ten minutes feels strange to me.

Posted in: England, Japan recommended as RWC hosts See in context
It depends on what the IRB strategy is. If we are talking about really expanding the game:
It should be every 3 years instead of four. It should be done in China, Corea and Japan 2018 should be done in Argentina/Brasil or Africa. With today's communications, considering European countries as different is ilogic: almost the same people goes to Wales, Scotland, Italy, Germany or England. Europe is the same market, and chances for increasing the market there are scarce. It is a safe business, though. If rugby wants to be a global sport, it has to go everywhere. Like football, like the Olympics. If not, it will remain a sport known in few countries, like baseball.

the first woman is a very bad friend (and co-worker). After she was raped she must have noticed that the man went to rape another woman. She could have called the police and "saved" her co-worker.

The article says that she disapproved a relation in 2004, when she was 17. Offtopic but, is it legal to have sex with minors or is it considered rape? Thx

So, basically, now that the fuel is at $55, they are making 150-300$ extra out of each ticket charging something they shouldnt be charging. Cut the surcharge now.

Why does the title say she was mistaken for minor, believing her agent's explanation? She is 32!! Come on... An expensive hooker is still a hooker.

"Single" is also applied to women who got married twice? Was the child the consequence of her second marriage? A child is "made" by two people, so I guess one way to deal with this would be to transfer half or more of the burden of raising a child to the father, whether or not he is/was the husband?

I never understood what is the relation between a sport and a group of girls dancing. When I play or watch a sport, I dont want any stupid distraction. But now, dont bother me with spors and let me enjoy imagining those "ladies" coming to my house to practice for a wet t-shirts competition...

where is the Somali community on this? Haven't heard a peep from them.
Well, it does not exist. They barely have a government and you want to blame on its "community"? These are outlaws, a very visible consequence of guns commerce. Of course, it they attacked cars that go through Somalia rather than ships, nobody would be interested, but it would be much more tragic. One long term solution: agree to ban guns commerce to Africa

"The Brazilians showed that they preferred to live amongst themselves and not participate in the community." Well, there was no intention from the beginning to integrate them. No people that communicated in Portuguese in city halls, information available only in Japanese, lack of Japanese language and completely different working conditions between a normal Japanese and a brazilian. Replacing them with Chinese may bring other issues, also, if the government does not implement integration policies. After all, anywhere in the world you can find a Chinatown and I don't know any Braziltown.

Grande Pato! If he wasnt Argentinean, there would be a couple of stories inspired by his life. He was a caddy from a poor family living near a golf course. He was born and raised in a small town in the middle of the country, which in a very strange case nurtured 2 top golf players (what are the chances that in a 20,000 people town 2 of them become the top Argentinean players). In Argentina, golf is for the rich people, so his career is more remarkable for being poor and allowed to play when the course closes. Nacho

The author of this article supposes that, if the US plays with "all its stars" in good shape, they would win. It is clear to me that the US is not as strong as he thinks it is. They accesed the semifinals just because Cuba was matched against Japan and Korea. I hope next time the WBC goes out of the US, where we can see stadiums full of fans (maybe only in Japan or Cuba can happen). The empty stadiums of the first matches in the US were a shame.
