My daughter’s spouse had it and quarantined for 10 days. She couldn’t go to work and had to stay home with him. They live in a small place and didn’t isolate from each other. She was prepared and just thought, okay get it recover and be done with it.
He felt terrible for three days and recovered. She never got it.
He was boosted and she has never done vaccine.

Doesn’t it just boil down to luck whether or not one gets the virus?
Fingers crossed my and my family’s luck holds out.

Disillusioned, man I hear that what you said. Couldn’t agree more but still here! Can’t pull stakes and leave that easily.
Also, don’t the politicians get 1,000,000 yen per month for walking around money?
Seems like an awful lot of money to get for free when you’re already rich.

Here's my question: if the city knew about 15 cases of abuse and this is only coming to light now, why is it only teachers being arrested and not the city employees who knew about it and did nothing?
Well, maybe because it was a cover up and many people knew about it. Susono is a tiny community where everyone knows each other. Small town where lots of love affairs go on as well.

Hopefully it’s too “mendo” for most conbini franchise holders.

Would be wonderful if the media would stop reporting these numbers and people could just get on with life as it was pre-pandemic.
Last night during a leisurely bike ride I noticed that that is pretty much the case. People are out at and enjoying food and drinks talking with smiles on their faces!

Proper mask-wearing is necessary if you cannot maintain enough distance with others outside and talk with them,"
Majority of people will never take them off here. Consider it the norm for a long time.
