77-70 in a quarter final is not "demolished". Australia is getting demolished by team USA in the other quarter final now though.... Painful to watch.

A good start by Argentina but they got in foul trouble allowing Australia to be too strong, great game to watch.

Vaccination rates too low still in Australia so the government has decided a zero covid policy! Until vaccination rates are high(over 80% I would guess of adult population) the borders are closed and lock downs will keep happening.

AZ is lots of it in Australia as is being made in Australia but is not popular for anyone unless over 70s (Most of those have had their 1st or 2nd JAB). The rest of Australia under 70 is wanting Pfizer which is ordered from overseas. Country's with lots of covid cases rightly get first supplies of the Pfizer but Australia will get enough to get most of the population done by the end of the year then borders can open up a little more. Remember Australia has had only 1 death this year (A man in his 80s that came back from Indonesia).

Get all those over 60s vaccinated and the fatality rate will drop.

I'm in Australia I'm 45 years old no health problems and get my 2nd Pfizer next week. I wanted it as quick as possible so I can head back to Japan when borders open up more. We have had slow take up of people wanting to get the vaccinations in Australia because we have hardly any covid around. Government wants 0 covid cases until we have approx 80% vaccination of the population, It's a catch 22.

I would like to know the running number of athletics and support staff that test positive during the games once everyone starts arriving in big numbers. Because everyone is being tested daily will be a interesting number to know.
