I stayed here and it was not very good at all. Actually, the front desk people were quite rude to us and put us in a smoking room when we asked for a non-smoking room. They also lost my friend's reservation and he had to stay in a love hotel near the station. Lots of big problems here.

Japan, you're a lucky country to have Jane Birkin. She's never ever going to give you up. I also feel she'll never let us down. Other celebrities may run around to other countries in need and offer superficial help but I think that does nothing and it might even hurt you in the end. She's done this kind of work lots before for Japan, she's no stranger to showing her love for the country. She knows the rules of the country and people love her for it. And so do I.

This reads like passive aggressive tripe written by some petulant underling who got yelled at one too many times by their section manager.

You know what? Here it is: We are all going to die some day. Accept it and enjoy your life instead of being scared of everything. There is radiation, pollutants, etc. in everything you eat, drink, and breathe. An average chocolate bar has between 3-8 insect legs in it. Up to half an average pillow's weight consists of dust mite feces. Every time you go outside, you are exposed to radiation - it's called sunlight. You are dying right now as you read this very post. Freaking out about any of that stuff isn't going to help you.

Before you claim that I'm defending the guy, I'm clearly not. I'm simply saying the situation is a lot more complex than simply branding someone as evil and then moving on.

Well, let's put it this way then: If I locked you in a room with someone who screamed and screamed in your face all day every day for years, and you couldn't reason with that person at all to make them stop, how long do you think you would last before lashing out? Sure, some of you could endure it - but I imagine that you would hesitate to classify as evil those people who couldn't endure it.

I get that people aren't so easily classified into good or evil for what they do. Everyone has limits and some people just reach that limit and snap. What more can be said about this event?

I used to not understand parents who killed or hurt their children either. Then I moved next door to a family with a 4 year old girl who screams and cries for hours every single day. Now I get it. Everyone has a limit and some people's limits are much lower than others.

Look, there's really nothing that these sorts of people are ever going to offer society in the long run. By doing something like this, it shows their parasitic nature.
