Posted in: 86% fear COVID rebound if Tokyo Olympics held: poll See in context

After the Olympics there will be a HUGE spike in COVID cases. However two things will happen. The Japanese gov't will downplay the increase, and they will do very limited testing.

The government will be eventually forced into mass testing, at which time the government there will not accept responsibility for the COVID outbreak and will instead place the blame on foreigners that THEY allowed to come into the country.

I see many posters complaining, and many against holding the Olympics. I have to ask, for those of you that are against Japan holding the Olympics, what have you done to show your opposition...besides sitting at home posting on JT?

People talking about how bad the accomadations are? Many of these countries are 3rd world (real 3rd world, not like Japan) and to be able to stay in a room like this is LUXURY! I am sure the rooms are the last thing the athletes are worried about! They are here to WIN and live out their lifetime dream!
