That’s just complete nonsense, the corruption of and the dereliction and incompetence of the government, the governor and the faulty electric grids are causes for the high toll death number.

See Ryan Zinke. And Donald Trump on the 9/11 attacks and George Bush's responsibility: "It happened on his watch..."

How so? He didn’t even get on the ground yet and Hurricane is just making landfall. Liberals are too funny. If Trump is in a helicopter looking down on the aftermath, I’ll be the first to criticize him, but until then, let’s wait and see before you guys start getting out your pitchfork and torches.

Well, you see leadership is taking action to PREVENT casualties and damage. Given Katrina, Republicans seem to have a difficult time grasping that concept...

Why isn't he getting his cabinet together and ensuring state/national efforts are well coordinated?

He is and he did, there was a big Photo of it this morning in another paper, not left leaning so maybe that’s why you guys didn’t see it.

One big photo? What is it about leadership that you don't get? A photo ops is not leadership...

There's only one reason - it's one we've heard over and over the past several weeks from no less than his own hand-picked staff - he's incompetent.

Hmmmm....I disagree, I think the man is way ahead of the media on this, he knew full well when the Strom was announced the media would try to throw it his way and he was right.

News flash - he doesn't have to be in front of the media - HE HAS TO BE IN FRONT OF THE STORM - you know, taking proactive action to save lives and prevent damage. He doing none of that because he is doesn't know how to - you know, he's incompetent...

Sneeeaky!

Why is it that Trump supporters seem to enjoy sounding like a Fifth or Sixth Grader...wait, I know why....

Corruption in Puerto Rico may have actually contributed Hurricane Maria’s high death toll.

No, I think corruption in Trump's administration may have contributed to the high death toll...

The Puerto Rican government canceled the Whitefish contract on Oct. 29, about two weeks after it was awarded, after extensive media reports on Whitefish’s personal ties to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke along with revelations that the company’s rates — paid for by taxpayers — were far above normal for emergency electrical work.

But irrespective of who you want to try to pin the blame on, Florence is happening now and Trump is showing no leadership in preparing for its aftermath.  Why isn't he getting his cabinet together and ensuring state/national efforts are well coordinated?

There's only one reason - it's one we've heard over and over the past several weeks from no less than his own hand-picked staff - he's incompetent.

Regarding Trump's liability for all the problems associated with our response to Hurricane Maria, I'll just use his words - "It happened on his watch"...

For the life of me, I can't begin to comprehend why Trump is tweeting and focusing his time on something that occurred a year ago, when we have an emergency now with an equivalent storm that is crashing ashore on the East Coast.  He should be getting all the key experts at both State and National level together to ensure that plans and resources are in place to respond to this disaster.  We don't need another "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job" moment.

If he can't display any leadership or substance in responding to Hurricane Florence, it more than validates all the comments in all the books and articles that he is just plain incompetent...

There is no way the GOP would do that, for one thing, Trump’s popularity with Republicans is at N all time high, that alone is a reason and the GOP haven’t seen anything that would give them a reason to remove him.

I might buy that if it was just conspiracy and obstruction, but throw in collusion and all the crimes that Weisellberg and Cohen are going to rat him out on; big time money laundering with Russian oligarchs, big-time tax fraud with Trump Foundation, etc., even the Repubs can't stomach that.

Yes and I will be crowned the next king of England.

Good afternoon, your Majesty...

No, more like correcting the wrongs of Mueller.

Remember the headline "Putin's Puppy Pardon's Papadapolous"

Ok, but it has nothing to do with Trump, so one big sigh of relief, thank God.

So tell us how you got in the room with Mueller's Special Council team to confirm this....

As I have said before Mueller has a justify his existence for being there, he cannot leave empty-handed and he cannot leave without writing indictments otherwise, how will he explain spending all that tax payer money? Every dog eventually has to find A bone somehow.

Empty handed?  I'm not typing in all the people and organizations he's indicted again - you know it and I know it and so does everyone else.  Give it a break.

Every dog eventually has to find A bone somehow.

And Mueller is a pit bull, no wonder Trump is wetting his pants...

And I was so looking forward to hearing your comment I made about Melania...why the silence?

Bass, Wolfpack, Texas Aggie, et al;

Your fellow Trump supporter Burning Bush said this about Israel;

The Israelis have been stalling and obstructing the peace process successfully for 70 years now, all the while building settlements year after year, squeezing the Palestinians into a smaller and smaller pocket.

At least US complicity in this crime is out in the open now and the US isn't pretending to be a "mediator".

What do you say about that? Is he a Lefty Liberal?

Won’t happen.

How are you so sure?

He can’t and the Senate won’t. But in 2024 voters can vote in a socialist if they want. Maybe Ocasio-Cortez. ROFL!

Let's see, in 2024 Trump should be in about his sixth year of imprisonment for conspiracy, obstruction, collusion, tax fraud, money laundering, etc...  Go GOP!

Wait until the President pardons some of these people.

Oh, I'm waiting for that - so is Putin...

Heh, all the names listed were either for either process crimes or other offenses that have nothing to do with Mueller's original intent: the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming.

I know you can't process this but Manafort was inhoc to Russian oligarchs, Gates was working for him helping Russian-backed Ukrainians, Flynn lied about Russian contacts, Padapodolous lied about Russian contacts, and the rest were just ordinary criminals - you know, like most of Trump's cabinet...

Of course, Mueller has to produce something, anything, to justify why he's spent nearly $28 million taxpayer dollars on a bogus ring around the maypole tree while to date, the real crimes that were committed by the democrats and The Deep State continue to go ignored.

This gets tiring - just google all the criminals Mueller has indicted... And by Deep State I assume you mean the Republican Resistance?

Perhaps Stormy's upcoming "tell-all" will finally be the liberals much-hoped-for "Today is the Day" moment.

I'm not sure about liberals but it might be a big "Today is the Day" moment for Melania....

Heh, the Conga Line of loonies writing books designed to hound President Trump out of office grows by one.

If these books contribute to Trump quitting, then we'll really know he is a weak, errant, Fifth grader...

There's only one person that may push the President out of office, and he's not a loon, he's a Marine Vietnam vet who was also the second longest serving Director of the FBI...

And he has a pretty good record going so far of sending Trump's cronies and henchmen off on the conga line to Leavenworth...

One thing's for sure, everybody associated with Trump walks away with a multi-million dollar payoff via a book deal.

Well, I'd caveat that with "everyone associated with Trump walks away with a million dollar book deal, but some of those (Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Papadapolous, Cohen, Hunter, Collins, etc.) have to serve time in an orange jumpsuit first..."

lincoln... Try to stay focused on the topic at hand, which is Bob Woodward unable to prove most of the claims in his anti-Trump book, and now calling the White House Chief of Staff and the Secretary of Defense liars

The topic you introduced was "gossip" and I'll let my comments above speak for themselves...

Nor did he concretely confirmed it.

He could have said "that's not true" like the others - he didn't...

Sessions: "Call me Mr Magoo...."

Actually, that was funny, I couldn’t even keep a straight face on that one.

Me either - but I'm sure he doesn't like it when the President calls him that...or "retarded", or a "dumb southerner"... Result: Payback...

Uh, I know you can't process this but this is CONSERVATIVES saying this about CONSERVATIVES.

Ok, but where is the proof? Because it comes from a paper that hates Trump or the owner that hates Trump? They say it, so it’s just a matter of fact? ROFL. Oh, this reminds me so much of “Deep throat” Ok, so we are in the alleged camp until further notice.

For the third time, tell me who the "Senior White House Official" is who's a Democrat?

We don’t want that either, but we sure as heck don’t want a sluggish 1.6% yearly RECOVERY growth like we had for 8 years when we can have a ECONOMIC BOOM that we are having now. 4.1% GDP sounds good to me.

Consistent long term growth is always better than one year followed by the largest downturn since the Great Depression...and the Harley Davidson employees, metal workers, and others thrown out of their jobs by Trump's tariffs wouldn't agree with you.

Allegedly.

He didn't deny it....

Again, Mattis and Kelly are not known to be liars, so I am assuming that is pretty clear on their that that it probably wasn't the case.

Sessions:  "Call me Mr Magoo...."

Let those words sink in a little - the President's own team thinks he is incompetent and a danger to our country.

Liberals think that about conservatives and vice versa.

Uh, I know you can't process this but this is CONSERVATIVES saying this about CONSERVATIVES.

If the Democrats don't get back into power, we don't have to worry, if they do, I'm dumping my stocks because the financial boom will come to a screeching halt.

Yes, we don't want 84 months of consecutive economic growth, take us back to the good old' days of the last Republican administration in 2007 when the economy cratered...

And do we know who these people are? Can we verify that everything is 100% factual? No, we can't especially from a paper that hates the President, has had more retractions that almost any other media outlet, has an owner that is an extreme hater of the President, so yes, I am somewhat skeptical or at the very least cautious in just running with a lottery ticket.

Woodward knows...

I don't believe he's an idiot, if he were, he would have never gotten the Presidency,

OK, let's go with errant, amoral (you know that one's true - so does Melania), petty, adversarial, understands at the Fifth Grade level, and is a danger to the country...

but I do feel the others were complete idiots and even if the Dems take the House, the Senate won't remove him. so...

Who's "others"?

If you can prove it was a Republican 100% I will owe you an apology, IF you can prove it. Because you are so sure.

There's nothing to prove - you show me a "Senior White House Official" who is a Democrat...

The President killed about 200 Russians in Syria, you can't be another persons pet anything if you kill their people or impose sanctions or them or can you prove it, but it seems like the FBI can't prove it, but liberals can? Lol nice try.

Mattis killed them - and Trump probably chewed him out for it.  Even you said Trump acted like a Wimp at his Summit with Putin.

Well, as bad as that is, if he did it BEFORE he was President, then I wouldn't care,

He paid them off then lied about it in 2016...

back in 1998 liberals didn't care their President was doing it while on the job, but now it's doom and gloom because of what the President did 12 years ago? ROFL

Says the guy that is fixated on Bill Ayers and Rev Wright...

Porter said that suggesting materials from Trump's desk were "stolen" to prevent the president from taking action "misunderstands how the White House document review process works." Porter, who exited the White House after allegations of domestic violence became public, says he was tasked with ensuring that "pros and cons were evaluated" on policy proposals and other decisions. He said that doesn't make a person "part of a 'resistance.'"

Notice he says "misunderstands", not "inaccurate" - it's clear that Porter and other members of the REPUBLICAN RESISTANCE would routinely hide documents from the president because they "thought he was a detriment to the health of the republic".

Let those words sink in a little - the President's own team thinks he is incompetent and a danger to our country.

God help us if there is any economic or foreign policy crisis, really any crisis, because those closest to the President do not think he is capable of responding in an effective manner.

With anonymous sources? Now how could anyone say that with a clear conscious? Oh, wait....

They aren't anonymous - they were off the record. Big difference for those that care.

I’ll give the man 50/50

"He's erratic, amoral, an idiot, impetuous, adversarial, petty, a Fifth or Sixth Grader, who acts in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic."

Sounds like a deal to me - we agree he's a idiot that's detrimental to the health of the republic... get him out of the Oval Office!

Sounds like the Democrat party sprinkled with a few hot tempered Neocons on top..

Once again we are treated to the Trumpster conundrum - they just can't accept that all this ridicule of Trump is coming from their own conservative Republicans. I can't wait until Jeff Sessions comes forward and says "It's me, the little boll weevil that smoked your a$$...."

And replace him with Pence? Just as good, he’ll scare the living daylights out of Democrats even more and would further the Trump agenda, not to mention a solid evangelical. Doesn’t sound bad to me.

Pence is hardly my choice, but at least he wouldn't be Putin's Puppy like Trump. And I don't see Pence dallying with porn stars or Playboy Bunnies (though these days you never know)...

The Dems want to go from sirloin to tenderloin. Lol

That's just plain weird...

The man wrote a lot of good books, not knocking his journalistic skills, but the man did have in the past some questionable sources and I think it’s irresponsible to take a blind eye and to say concretely, the man is telling the truth 100%.

We, I think its empirically clear that what Woodward writes is entirely 100% accurate. but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, let's say he's 80% correct;

"He's erratic, amoral, an idiot, impetuous, adversarial, petty, a Fifth or Sixth Grader, who acts in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic."

Let's throw out adversarial and petty - that still leaves idiot, amoral, has the understanding of a Fifth or Six Grader and is still a detriment to the health of the republic...

Evidently you've never heard the phrase "don't shoot the messenger"...all these folks are doing is quoting those inside the Trump White House, you know - REPUBLICANS - THE BEST - THE TEAM...

When will Trumpers ever get that everyone saying Trump is an idiot, errant, amoral, comprehends at the Fifth Grade level, and is a danger to the republic are REPUBLICANS - CONSERVATIVES - RIGHT-WINGERS...

Mattis is quoted saying Trump has the understanding of "a fifth or sixth-grader."

In a statement, Kelly flatly disputed maligning the president like that: "The idea I ever called the President an idiot is not true, in fact it's exactly the opposite." He added, "He and I both know this story is total BS."

Mattis issued a statement, tweeted at least twice by Trump, saying, "The contemptuous words about the President attributed to me in Woodward's book were never uttered by me or in my presence." Mattis called the book "the product of someone's rich imagination."

Kelly and Mattis: "Well, sometimes we tell little white lies so we don’t end up like Rex Tillertson…in this White House, we have to bow down on our knees and swear allegiance to the Great Orange Fifth Grader before we're allowed in the Oval Office..."

Dont forget: he also killed more women and children muslims than other presidents with his drone strikes.

Women and children? Hardly. He did kill the architect of the Sept 11 2001 terrorist attacks, which Bush couldn’t do in seven years…

Trump, however, hasnt. Trump has also hired more minorities into his staff than Obama.

Yep, like Omarosa and Ben Carson, and look how well those two turned out…

Trump has also put Americans first over, say, illeagal immigrants and oil producing Arab states--unlike Obama.

Amercians first? Sure, all his rich one-percenters – they are doing great with their big tax breaks. Working Americans? Ask the Harley Davidson workers who are out of a job because of his tariffs…

Question: why do liberals, when they speak of Obama, never speak of his policies. They just say broad and subjective things like he was an eloquent speaker?

Oh, they speak of his polices – but the distinction between a Harvard Law professor and a Fifth Grader just invites comparison…

Really who cares? Do want a president that actually does good for the American people, or one who just makes you feel good. It's a rhetorical question.

Do we want a President who plays with porn stars, says of Neo-Nazi’s “some a good people”, insults Gold Star families, and ridicules the handicapped? It’s not rhetorical, it’s an actual question….

Trump won. Deal with it. Or, Meanwhile, you can go join a violent, facist, communist, leftist protest and spit on and punch Trump supporters.

You know, like the ones at Charlottesville that ran over and killed a leftist protestor...

Recent polls suggest that African Americans have doubled their support for Trump.

…from .0005 to .001

The dems rely on 98% of their voter base to be poor "oppressed" professional victims. They will fight to the death to keep it that way. Hence Obama's rhetoric.

“Poor oppressed professional victims” – don’t you and David Duke have another word you like to use here?

President Obama drives these Trump supporters crazy for several reasons;

A great many, certainly not all, still believe the lie that Trump started - that he is not an American citizen and is a Muslim (yes, there are still some of these troglodytes out there - just go to Youtube and type in "Trump supporters"),

A great many, not all, hate him for the same reasons Trump-supporter David Duke hates him.

He is literate, has been faithful to one wife, talks politely to people, and tries not to insult anyone (like the handicapped, Gold Star families, and all minorities).

He was respected and welcomed throughout the world instead of having "man-child" balloons flying when he visited.

His staff revered him, rather than calling him an "erratic, amoral, an idiot, impetuous, adversarial, petty, a Fifth or Sixth Grader, who acts in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic."

He has compassion, integrity, and dignity, something Donald Trump will never, ever have...
