Paragliders practice near my place along the Sagami River everyday. They launch from a park, glide along the river, then land back where they started. No safety barriers or safety precautions are in place. They fly close to roads, houses, and huge power towers all the time.

illsayit "what's so threatening about chasing fish?"

The issue is whaling, not fishing. The Southern Ocean is a designated whale sanctuary. How would Japan like it if Australians started killing animals in Japanese designated animal sanctuaries? Oh, I forgot, Japan doesn't have any - they could't care less for their environment or animals. Take a hike in the mountains and look at all the garbage dumped there or in the rivers and beaches.

At least this is a start. How far behind the rest of the world is Japan when it comes to multilingual assistance? Very far I'd say. My local city office has only two booklets in English for English speakers - poorly written and last updated over 16 years ago!
