Hana-bi, Sonatine, Outrage (both of them), and Brother all yakuza movie classics from Takeshi IMO. Though Jingi Naki Tatakai is a masterpiece in the yakuza genre. Check out some Kinji Fukasaku 70s flicks like Sympathy for the Underdog, Cops vs Thugs, and Graveyard of Honor.
