Posted in: McDonald's Japan forecasts Y38 billion net loss for 2015 See in context
Macy Ds in the UK, France, NZ and Turkey used to be much better in quality and service. I don't buy into the zombie approach to service - I might as well be talking to a robot - of Japan as being a good indicator of service on the whole. Tell them you want no mayo on your burger or less salt on the fries and you send them into burn down mode.
McDonald in the UK are awful for service. The place is always a mess, food everywhere, and the staff are terrible. Give me the staff and service in Japan any day of the week. Like night and day comparing them.

No before time! I get 1,000 mins + unlimited text for 3,000 yen in the UK for 3,000 yen! Japan is way behind on this stuff!

So sad. Not the first time a well tuned athlete has collapsed and died on the field or in training. Unfathomable!

Japan rode their luck. Not their fault the americans couldn't score. They could have been out of sight by half time. But that's how the game goes. If you don't take your chances it can come back and bite you on the bahookie...and it did. Was over the moon for Japan. They totally deserved it. And what a humble lady Sawa is!
Magic! :D

Fantastic Nippon! Great advert for women's football. And so refreshing to see players getting up straight after a tackle, and not feighning injury to get an opposition player sent off! Brilliant!

The person on the ferry should get most of, if not all of it. Of course if the previous information hadn't come out, then they wouldn't have noticed. But, the ferry person should definately get the bulk.

Kudos to the person that spotted this animal! I'm so glad the bas*ard has been caught! Was just thinking...if that had been Britain...the police car would have been lucky to get out of the police station in one piece!

Doesn't tiebreaking mean the the game was tied at 1-1, so he broke the tie by hitting a homerun to make it 2-1?

This was a very small level crossing, and didn't have a barrier etc. I know how easy it is to lose sight of a toddler. But, I just don't understand how a parent let their child anywhere near a railway line without taking a firm grip of their hand. It's just common sense.

YABADABADOOOOOOOO!!! Great performance by Japan. Thought they'd blown it in the 9th, after leaving so many runners on base. Well done Ichiro coming through with that hit. Japan thoroughly deserved the victory. Bad sportsmanship by half that Korean team. I wish a Japan player had stuck a Japan flag on that pitching mound! Yeeeeeeeee!!!

The parents were eating lunch at the time(japanese husband told me). So why wasn't this little girl sitting in a child seat at the table with them? I get so frustrated when I see things like this happen. Unfortunately unavoidable accidents involving kids are very common in Japan. But it's not only japanese parents. I have a chinese woman in my japanese class who lets her 1 year old boy run all over the place...elevators...escalators...up steep steps etc. The rest of us panic, and she just stands there yakking to friends! Grrrrrrrrrr.
