South Korean cry-babies. They never stop. Despite her short program meltdown, Asada Mao had an almost perfect free program, yet she came third in that program and you don't see the Japanese whining. But the Koreans, oh the world have to stop for them. I feel for Kim, but I'm sure glad the Koreans didn't get that gold .

Ban ki Moon, Moon ki Ban, Bam de Ful, who cares. Guy is a disappointment. Should have waited till he got out of office before letting his nationalism get the better if him. I say he goofed this one big time.

Posted in: Cabinet ministers visit Yasukuni Shrine; Abe sends offering See in context

Way to go fds! Best comment on this forum. I wish Abe would do just that and shut the detractors up. What's the point of staying away when China and Korea are still complaining. The truth is that Korea was complicit in the activities of Japan in the past, and in order to drown any voice pointing accusing fingers at them, they seem to shout the loudest, even more than the Chinese. Shame on Korea.

Being relevant in the 21st century as in sanction gay marriages and all? Bullsh#t! The church should be the one shaping social trends as the custodian of morality and spirituality, but if it allows social trends to dictate its direction, then it has lost its relevance. In fact the church's relevance today is rooted in its resistance to radical social changes so that people always fall back to it to find some sanity in this increasingly insane world. The church does not need to appear hip to maintain its relevance.

All Russia wants him for is to coax whatever information he has out of him. My guess is that this romance will not last. Snowden will eventually find himself alone and wondering what it was he was fighting for.

In the end it's about how many warheads you have and not tanks. It's called modern warfare, so I doubt these exercises scare anyone these days.

Has any of you judges given it a thought that the charges might have been trumped up and seeing as there's no way to escape it the shame, the man ends his life. Sometimes, these ladies make false claims too. And yeah, I'm curious too, what special happened on this last occasion to warrant the arrest.

At Smith the anti japan, don't exaggerate China's importance. China needs the US more. Remove these two countries US & Japan from China's economic equation and see what remains.

The Japan bashers at it again. Tell me you dont think these brainwashed Chinese are overreacting. No, matter of fact, lets blame it all conveniently on the Japanese side protecting their interest, afterall thats how we get our hard-on. These Japanese must be really evil, against Korea, they offered to take the issue to the ICJ. How dare they. The Russians took the Kuril islands, why should the Japanese complain? And why didnt they just let the Chinese have the Senkaku islands? Pathetic sense of logic!

Its easy to rile Japan for not paying out all these demonstrators. But people reason for once how feasible that can be. The moment hands out a dime, the floods of claims will start pouring in.I believe the best place to look is at the Korean government itself. They know the truth(even though they sometimes try to please the nationalist in their country) and that's why they are not taking these claims too seriously.

@Smithinjapan, I assume you live in Japan by that name. Why the antagonism against Japan. Been following all your post(OK, not all, but a significant amount) the bias is ever so glaring. If you don't like the country, why are you here? You don't have to support Japan, but at least for once make a valid argument.

The West are just as guilty, and don't get me started on the British colonial rule in Africa. Basically this is all about monetary compensations. If these claims were legal, the Korean govt. would be the first to pressure Japan through severance of ties. But that they are not doing so. What does it tell you?

@ lucabrasi, that has got to be the dumbest attack I've ever heard. Guy makes a good point and you had to go all out with your fallacious, ad hominem attack. PERVERSION is a choice too and losing some of the rights you enjoy in the society comes with that choice. If you wish to enjoy like the 'normal' people, then be normal.

@valued customer, one thing missing from your historical list, is the one between same sex people. At least those people in history still had some semblance of sanity. And what is wrong with Takeshi's argument? next marriage will be expanded to cater for those practicing beastiality.

Posted in: Beat Takeshi compares same-sex marriage with bestiality See in context

God bless this guy Takeshi. He must have borrowed those words from me. I made this argument 3 years ago against homosexuality. It is the simple and logical fact. Homosexuality, beastiality are all forms of perversion. Anyone practicing any of it is a PERVERT. Case closed.

He was beaten by his father and that drove him to kill and rape people, great! Then let's hold the father responsible and give him the death penalty, and while we are at it, why don't we posthumously hand out a death penalty to the mother too, for failing to save the kid, anything that would help to shift the blame from this culprit

Raped & killed a mother , and strangled a helpless 11 month old baby, & people have the guts to call him a minor? What is minor about this savage? minors bully their peers, minors shoplift & sometimes rape their peers, but this crime is the exclusive reserve of hardened criminals not just adults. I say hang this guy a thousand times till he doesn't have a chance in the afterlife.
