Still not very sincere to welcome back foreigners ! The visa application is still pain in the ass, in my country you need to wait 6 weeks for an appointment to apply for visa, and the visa processing take another week.
Private tour is allowed but still need to book through a travel agent. The travel agent in Japan start to abusive the system by charging exorbitant price.!!!

Other countries are already accepted corona as part of their lives and open up their borders with no testing and quarantine , I don't understand why Japan still can't do it as an advance country. Many countries have their fair share of high infection rates..but they don't shut their borders so strictly again.
