As per my knowledge its because of the way japanese treat foreigners... they only want foreigners to buy their product and when their economy is down.... if japan has to compete with the world then the policy for foreigners should be good other wise i think it will rust like it is from the 1980s

Poor country i feel pity, they dont have their own vaccines on top of that they are refraining from foreign vaccines. Most of the developed world has inoculated more than 15% of their population. Barely 2000 tests and 555 cases 28% positivity rate. If there would be 10000 tests than the rate would be 2800 case. I think japan olympics must be doubted.

This shows total negligence of goverment. Japan is among the only few countries which had order vaccines which would be enough for inoculating the population thrice. Japan had chance if it had started inoculation from the 1st day when vaccine was approved it would have inoculated around 60% of its population till now because japan had advantage over other countries because of low corona cases as a result japan would have chance to open economy make olympic success and boast the world by helping but now it is lagging behind many underdevelope nations in vaccination. This shows the bad governance. Japan missed the golden chance. And i feel sorry for that, but still it has chance.

I dont think the S.O.E was effective....its just people cooperation and discipline....instead of imposing state of emerģency in coming future gov should focus on educating people and request them to do things which are compulsory like wearing masks, washing hands frequenltly and refraining from crowded places as far as possible.

SOE was not the reason behind cases declining, citizens cooperation was the reason. During newyear people didnot cooperated which resulted in hike of cases thats all.

Why is this country banning students and workers while they are the ones who have to go throught dual covid test and 14 days quarantine. I think this country only needs foriegners when their economy is dying, when their youth population is low . Foreigner are the ones who helped this country and foreigners are the one who are biased . What if we start banning all japanese products just like they are banning foreigners without reasons.
