At the end of the day, you like you drink it, doesn't matter about all the wine jargon and or grape variety etc, the thing though with beujolais nouveau, it's the thing to drink this time of year because it's the season, i.e. Japanese dress for the season not for the weather, drink bn for the season not so much for the taste....

Agree with BurakuminDes, Davis cup is about playing as a team and a country, it should be a priority, but it obvoiusly isn't for some players, the timing isn't the best straight after AO, but everyone is in the same boat, except Djokovic who had an early exit, thanx DENIS, Always was going to be difficult for Japan, with Simon and Gasquet in the top 20 on the ATP and no#1 ranked doubles team in the world..

Posted in: How high do you think tennis player Kei Nishikori, currently ranked No. 5, can go in world rankings? See in context

If Kei can concentrate on winning, 1000's series, hasn't done yet, and going deep in the slams as he just did at the US open, the ranking will take care of itself..

C'mom Le monf , he can do it, although he's been beaten in his last 12 encounters with joker, he's been on a good run since claiming his 1st 500 against Karlovic in the states. The joker has onlyp layed I think 5 sets so far this US open , only been pushed by Jankowitz , three retirements , what are the chances!!! Le monf in 4.....

Posted in: Luckless Nishikori faces injury deja vu at Wimbledon See in context

Bad luck for Kei, on his least favorite surface, can understand the injuries, the ATP schedule is very demanding espescially with the olympics this year, federer been injured quite a bit this year as has Tsonga and Gasquet, who retired yesterday with a back spasm, not to mention the best of 5 sets, compared to the other tournaments, just has to get some rest and prepare himself for Brazil, if he's going?? and then get ready for the US Open series, he' s most favored surface..

Posted in: Djokovic beats Nadal to set up semifinal clash with Nishikori at Italian Open See in context

Thiem will be top ten in a couple of months not years, sure Nishikori is nearing exhaustion but what about all the other players Djoko, Nadal,l Murray ,etc all chasing the masters series events 4 in as man weeks, as well as protecting their ranking points, These guys are proffessional athletes, they know the jist.. Kei has a good chance to take the joker down , but he's gonna have to play aggressive and keep away from the backhand, novak likes the deep crosscourt backhand , as Nadal changed his game around it yesterday, Rome is a little faster than Madrid and the hot conditions should dry the court up a little perhaps favoring joker, but there's a reason he's on 16500 points , so I predict Murray vs Nishikori Final on monday morning ...

Posted in: Nadal beats Nishikori to win Barcelona Open See in context

If Nishikori could have converted more break points 3/13, it would have been a different story , let Nadal off the hook, Nadal was already confident from his masters win in Monte Carlo, but Kei definently had the game to win his 3rd Barcelona 500, he's the only non spaniard to have won this tournament in the last 13 years, If he can stay fit and healthy, should go very deep at the french... Allez Kei!!!!

I got pulled over in rural shikoku, apparently doing 20 km over the limit , anyway he asked for my license , and passport I replied " I don't carry my pasport when I drive " He seemed perplexed even though he had my Japanese license in his hot little hands , he then the asked Where I was from, and where I lived, as well as where I was going, He then proceeded to take my finger print, and told me to take care as I continued my journey.

The joker is on another level right now , 28 masters 1000 series and counting from 42 finals, amazing, he has the mental and physical edge on all the other players and if he continues the way he is playing he will have another great year.. @DaDude that's a fair argument and I think Djokovic is benefeting from rafa and federers injuries as well as the inconsistincies of wawrinka and murray,, We have the young guns coming up ,Thiem , Krygios, Goffin etc but that's going to take some time.

Posted in: Serena, Murray blast Djokovic on prize money disparity comments See in context

Djokovic is just expressing his opinion, and why not, The ladies have had it too good, for too long ,they don't play the best of 5 sets at the slams , They don't put as many bums on seats as the men do, there aren't any top 4 on the current WTA tour as the mens, only serena who has won the last 4 out of 6 last slams, on the mens you have real competition more entertaining characters and rallies, but hey I,m just expressing my opinion...

If the waiter barman or whoever has gone out of their way, to provide a service that exceeds their basic job description Absolutely I always tip.The diference is between,. A good waiter and a great waiter, can certainly enhance your dining experience, you see most of the time service isn't included in your dining experience , so anything in anticipating the customers needs ,from getting a toothpick to topping up the wine,is conducive to the outcome of the dining experience..
