Kenneth Gardner It sounds like you abandoned your kid and replaced him with new ones. He doesn't need another friend, he needs a father. And when you say you wife dumped the kid on you it sounds like you were 'forced' to see him. That's mean.

Anyway, you can have a child from another marriage and find a good person who will accept that. Not sure what this man reacted this way. Maybe he just wanted to hurt his wife the worst way possible.

Good for him. I understand not every product in Fukushima is contaminated, and the region must be reconstructed again. It's hard but it must be done little by little.

I can't believe a woman can be so heartless and hurt a child like that, and only for money. It doesn't matters how much money I need, I wold never think about doing such horrible act. And it's hard to believe, but this can happen on any country, even mine, not only China as some people says.

Posted in: Chiba man arrested for inserting needles into food at convenience store See in context

There's people who are so deppressed and frustated about their own lifes that wants to make other people suffer as much as them. That's the root of bullying, rudeness and even violent acts against others. The only thing we can do if we got these feelings is look for professional help and learn to control our them, thinking about the consecuences and about the fact that even it's normal to feel frustrated sometimes is not nobody's fault.

The officials and the woman acted quickly, so they could find the attacker, good for them. Japanese culture should take their citizens with a psychiatric past more seriously, and offer better threatment. What if I get hurt someday too? What about my friends?

Posted in: Iwate assemblyman who compared hospital to prison on blog found dead in apparent suicide See in context

Well, maybe he exaggerated about how bad is being called by a number instead of a name at the hospital, but I don't consider that comment so bad that it should be critiziced at that level.

That complaint is not bad enough for getting fired, not even close. I thing society was being too sensitive and bothering with this social worker's comments, and wanted to use it as a scapegoat of their own feelings or thoughs.

I think we was on a fragile state of mind, so he couldn't handle all the pressure he got from others. I think this event should be a lesson for anyone who wants to critizice someone they don't know or understand.

Posted in: Aging Japan complains over the noise of children See in context

I'm ok if children make noise, as long as they don't say rude things or damage things on purpose. Aren't japanese children nicer than other ones from other places? Here where I live children are very impolite and rude with each other, and that's the only thing that it bothers me. Besides, they should know children have several outdoor activities inside daycare centers and schools. It's not something rare or inusual, why complaint?

After this, I think the only ones who support this man are people who doesn't knows about the pain the sex slaves suffered or the people who doesnt's have daughters or sisters so they can't understand the magnitude of his careless comments, the fact that he considers the rape of women as something necessary on those times should be enough for him to resign.

Women's slavery and rape won't be never be ok, and their dignity is much more important than the "wellbeing" of the soldiers. They used these women as they were nothing, and then deny it. So terrible.

I'm sorry that I say this, but why did she hold it for near 10 minutes? She shouldn't have to feel ashamed for yelling or even hit her agressor in public, because her safety is first. And I feel angry because nobody inside the train realized what he was doing. We need to me more concious that those things happens everyday around us and help those victims of sexual harassement.

Posted in: Depressing suicide prevention posters cause controversy in Kobe See in context

I think the reason of these posters is to show you you're not alone, that these moments of distress are normal and you can ask for help if you want, without feel ashamed for it. Maybe people who see the posters and feel uneasy can see their feelings trought them, but they are reluctant to admit it. I consider they should let them there, just put some explanation about it and show the phone number for some information.

Why would I care more about getting money than my dignity and my body? I can't understand girls nowadays. When I was touched by a guy when I was 5 years old and he asked me to do something horrible, I quickly said no, because inside of me I knew it was wrong. These kind of news kill me.

I'm concerned about how the boyfriend didn't know about these 2 children. Did he think they were been taken care of for their grandparents of someone else? Should he be judged too?

I don't know if someone else knew about the children. Some families are completely isolated from others and don't think about asking for help if something is wrong. If I had children and had difficult times raising them I would look for support from other, because I don't consider it embarrasing and it's for my children's health.

Kimokekahuna Hawaii, it's very easy to judge people when you are not at their same situation. Instead of feeling bad for them, you see them as wortless human beings because you see yourself as a success example in japanese society. Homeless people sometimes is getting too old for working, and shelters are not doing a proper job in Japan. Instead of thinking about yourself and how perfect you are, you should get more emphaty for others and become a better person.

Some things would have sound much better coming from another person, with more sensibility. I understand that maybe old people who is very sick should be allowed if they want to die peacefully, but I don't think the government's money is something you should consider before them.

He should have said "wealthy people", instead of "rich jews" at least T_T...

He can be honest, but needs some diplomacy.

I understand that taking care of someone with senile dementia is hard, but instead of looking for support why would I hurt her? Is not her fault at all. I don't know too much about japanese facilities, but what if they had hired a personal nurse? What if they get her in an institution where she could have received personal care and support from other old patients like her?

I had no idea of this kind of threatment to prisioners, it shocked me. It must be the most terrible feeling to know you're going to die at a couple of hours. Even they are murderers, I can't aprove it.

I consider that this is not only about the criminals, but about their families as well. We have to consider their family members want them to be threated with humanity, even they did terrible things. We can't do things that make us look as cold human beings, because we can be better than that.
