Japan surely doesn't allow " critical views" and voicing out own opinions that sounds derogatory about the country. There's no free speech here. "Heiwa bokke"....sorry, don't know how to translate that in English...

If only the movies were the latest. The series takes a long time for the episodes to be shown. You're watching one good one then there's a long pause of when it's gonna be shown again. Why is this so? It's just like the "Hulu" of Japan.

That's how it is over here, grandparents don't know any better as that's how they were brought up, the upbringing, the family values, the visitation time, the bonding is all completely differ from other countries. It can't be helped, it's their customs. That's why change is important. Improvement on family life and bonding. More hugs and simple pleasures should be more appreciated and implemented.. I hope I succeed in implementing such values when I get my very own grandchild.

What I don't understand is when the bus you are about to board won't even wait for you even if we're just talking in seconds late, and even when the bus driver sees you coming hurrying down a plight of stairs carefully putting in mind not to stumble. And mind you, the bus is empty and about to make a a stop a couple of meters away when the signal light is red. Very robotic. No feelings.

Not to mention the bed we bought!and the matching cabinets...omg..it's falling into pieces...wait till the J find out more about their item... My husband hates IKEA, I wonder what the staff are really doing there as they don't seem to be needing any work to do as you have to do every darn thing yourselves! It also is an extended place if you can't make it to Disneyland with all this kids!!! it's a very stressing place to go and shop!

Sex? Are you kidding me? Sex is an issue here? Sorry to break your bubble, but I dated my husband of 36 years now and going strong in the beginning just like any young loving normal do. Sex never became an issue or something that entered our thoughts, it comes naturally, love leads you too. Instincts of the heart.

Posted in: Police believe murdered girl, missing boy were taken near train station See in context

First of all, in my country, we are never allowed to be playing in the streets or even in friends home on school days! We were never allowed to be roaming around in malls or in arcades or even in supermarkets in our school uniforms unless accompanied with my mom! Now that's my country, that's my upbringing.bi find it very strange that the kids in Japan are so free to do al it's anything they want, come home anytime they want too, wear c,others they feel like, and even spend and purchase anything they can afford too. This system should change, and fast! I can't understand why the parents waited so ,ong before she contacted the police, or I may be wrong as it doesn't mention anything abt she calling one..by dinner time if her kids hasn't gone gone, she should have panicked already! My opinion.

I want them all of the above scraped from the J thinking and custom! Truly a total pressure. Especially the money giving thingy during weddings..that's one reason why it's only one partner of the couple invited. It would be too much to invite both. So which brings down to the fact that they're only after money not the friendship celebrated together during such special occasion...,my opinion.

Posted in: 21-year-old man arrested for abusing 3-month-old daughter See in context

I see a lot of this abuse right before my very eyes. They take their toddlers and babies alike to inappropriate places, naturally the kids get cranky and the parents gets irritated and starts verbally abusing with punches on the head. Even when the kids want to go to the toilet, I've seen others rushing their kids telling them to hurry up and get done with their business and a punch in the head. One time I was questioned as to why I was staring over the situation, I just told her to shut up her mouth and she left mumbling more words to herself. It's so sad how this kids are being treated. I wish I could start all over again taking care of my grown up children! I had fun attending to them prioritizing their schedules before mine and my hubby.

Posted in: 40% of unattached singles in their 20s, 30s don't want relationship: survey See in context

I agree with sand honor all the way. You took the words out from my mouth. Everything's become easy to be able to need the touch of another, the love for another. This is a country for business, for making money, for luring consumers, for creating something of the latest and being number one with it, but when it comes to relationships and integrating with other people and doing stuff together like hobbies and building a family perhaps in the future completely lax in all aspects. Sad to say but I can and have seen it around me. In fact I know a few youngish who chose such path. The environment has a lot to do with it too. The country and its pace.

I guess they wanted attention. Whatever their pleas were, they must have been ignored or unheard. You know how the authorities shun complains to people who truly speak and say what they think. It's not common in them to do so, and when someone does it, they're completely ignored and that's when betrayal and traitorship enters. Just saying what I think.
