Posted in: Narita Airport attempts to woo international travellers with ‘Omotenashi’ welcome program See in context

First they have to attempt to get rid of discrimination upon entering narita from segregating non japanese , to permanent visas, mothers with toddlers, to one section and to be offered priority. In the meantime,Japanese entering narita from abroad gets all the priority. With the long line from non japanese to a fast service to japanese national and with a case to case basis. Then I'll believe they can attain the right hospitality. There are more foreigners entering Narita thus the long line with children irritated from the wait.

Good on you Gackt! You acted like an educated person. Typical of a good breed of Japanese. And for the record..french loves JAPAN..so obviously you just have been mistaken for some other nationality who sadly are judged but are responsible with their own actions. But mind you, not all.

As much as I don't understand the reasons to all these issues, what puzzles me all the more is why do they still have to protect the persons name because he or she is a minor? Why do the authorities still have to respect the names of these beings?

Three cheers to the woman that intervened. You don't see much of her around here. I hope that from this day on, people will try not only to think of themselves and to be alert and attentive around them to and report anything suspicious.

In my opinion, this concerns more on the moral values of humans, to know their limits and to be able to control their whims. To know what's appropriate and not.

It's always best to be prepared for the worst scenario. Though we can't be perfect in doing so, stacking on toilet paper is not actually a bad idea as we can go without food for several days...

These cruel messages sent must all be suffering from Asperger's syndrome...incapable of having emotions and feelings...they should just be ignored and given no importance whatsoever. They might even find it fun if we react.

Posted in: Williams' death serves notice of dangers that come with fame See in context

There's a thin line between sadness and depression. Robin Williams suffered frm depression, period. This/ he himself should serve as an example that mental illness is a disease like any other diseases and if left untreated can lead to something unimaginable for the sufferer. What's happening in Japan, with all those weird issues of murder I can assure you that they have all committed by humans with sever mental illness. Japan should wake up fast and accept that this is another kind of illness to be recognized and dealt with a lot of compassion, patience and time,,,you just can't enter a clinic, wait for your name to be called after hours of waiting only to be given some light anxiety drugs and shout "next" for the next patient to come in...doctors will need a lot of training in how to show their love and their time when consulting.

Accidents do occurr, let's not judge here. I'm sure nobody wished this to happen, all the more the parents, whether it was bad parenting or good...it's a lesson to be learned to parents out there for it not to make it happen again.. RIP little sweet girl.

Posted in: Japan teen murder accused 'kept cat's head in fridge' See in context

Mental illness..a lot of it around and in the environment. It's the new disease of the era...but...apparently when you mention such on such incidents like murder, you still get a majority if thumbs down,,,I guess people don't want to accept that being mentally unstable with severe chemical imbalance can really lead you to do things unimaginable. No normal being battered with problems left and right will come to a conclusion of committing murder.

It does get very frustrating you know. With the system still with it's old ways and not doing much about it. Changes are very tough for the Japanese to impose. They won't or don't usually apply to new rules in regards to just about anyhting right away. They take years of study and discussions and meetings which they seem to love.
