Return SOVEREIGNTY to the Ryukyu Islands and let them work with China - they work well with everyone.

Note - Pearl Harbor and Senkaku are synonymous - both woke up sleeping tigers. The USA took Japan to the cleaners; especially with "The Bomb." Now it is China's turn and again it will probably end when China drops thier Bomb.

I don't want to see this as everyone is aspiring toward nuclear bombs and this could mean the end of the world as we know it today. A good leader would lead both China and Japan away from any further confrontation -but where will we find a good leader - certainly not in the USA - but how about the aged Masahide Ota of Okinawa ?

Surprise! Why not consider the former governor of Okinawa Masahide Ota - He works well with the President of China and get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar

@Crystalyle; You just wrote it all - the first nation to drop the bomb will end our world as we know it today. Today's missle is BAD - it can spell fini for the world. Talking does not fill bodybags. Incidentally, you can Google up the Cairo Accords and the Potsdam Declaration. I am a WW2 veteran and I am 91 years old. Wait till I am long gone before this action gets any worse.

Greedy Japan! All this could have been averted if Japan had recognized the Cairo Accord of 1943 where-in Japan was to return all lands taken by violence or greed. The Ryukyu Islands allways got along with C hina and I predicted that China would share with Okinawa, but Japan spend all thier time mouthing off about the islands that were taken from them as per the Cairo Accords. I say forget it or you could contribute to what could be the end of the world.

Know this; First and foremost, Senkaku was the possesion of the Kingdom of the Ryukyus, but Japan annexed the whole of the Kingdom and I hoped the Cairo Accords was going to give the Kingdom of the Ryukyus, but greedy Japan is still fighting to keep all the lands they took by "violence or greed" - now, the Ryukyuans get along very well with the Chinese and they would be content to share the Senkakus with China and it could mean great monies to Okinawa, but Japan continues to build a scab on its nose and Japan is still angry over the Kuriles etc and they flirt with an angry China who just might spank them. Frankly , I am on China's side. (I also love the Ryukyuan people.)

Note: So far, the only way that we can control cancer cells, is to bolster the immune systen as a healthy immune system will kill cancer cells. Chemo, radiation and surgery are destructive and only a healthy immune systen can kill cancer cells.

Japan is breeding a scab on its nose and I feel China is at the end of their patience - the Senkakus Islands belonged to the Kingdom of the Ryukyus. No way has Greedy Japan hs anything to say and further bickering and Japan will be feeling the ire of the Chinese and this time China will be the stronger of the two. Frankly, King Sho had warmer feeling for China than they did for Japan.

Allow me to remind all the bloggers above that all this could have been resolved if greedy Japan had returned the Ryukyu Islands to the Ryukyuans as per the Cairo Accords of 1943 "All lands taken by violence or greed shall be returned" But no, Japan had to fight for Okinawa at the meeting in San Francisco after the end of WW2.

Simple: Okinawa and China get along swimmingly and Japan and China are at each others throats - with no end in sight!

Return the Ryukyu Islands to sovereignty and you will see the bickering stop in a quick minute.

Again I make the observation that Japan selfishy ignore the Cairo Accords of 1943 and Senkaku should belong to the "Rykyuan Kingdom" where in all lands taken by violence or greed should be returned to the righful owner.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought there were two knives in the Har'aki'ai action; one was the katana (A short knife used to disembwel and a long Samur'ai sword that was used by the aide to cut off the head) - this is of interest to me as I am writing on this subject at this time.

Another stupid move! We have already built a complete barracks on the island of Tinian and it was intended to put the dependents on Saipan. plus the island of Rota was to be used for bombing practices and yes, we already had a air field built - in fact we used to send Enola Gay to drop the first bomb to end WWII. All this was to be bult by Kaiser.

Ten years down the road I would ask you to tell me how much better it is with the Japanese in full charge of your beautiful islands. It wont take ten years as the Japanese are already moving in en masse, even before we move out. The Japanese already have a large area, complete with sewage and a golf course and are working toward a private airfield that will service their summer homes in Arume Okinawa.

Posted in: Guam official: 60% of Marines from Okinawa will rotate See in context

Guam will be the headquarters and the Marines will lve on Tinian and train on Rota and the dependents will be housed on Saipan - at least that is the way they decided back in 1967 - Kaiser built the barracks years ago and the airfild was used to drop the bombs on Japan.

I feel we should be nice to China and forget Japan. (This does not include Okinawa!)
