I use Twitter largely as an equivalent to an RSS reader. Besides that it is just a large echo chamber. There are some bots that I really like @DropinIn comes to mind recommending events or @DearAssistant

The only problem is that ads suck for us content producers. It is a lame excuse for content consumers to assume that it at the end pays, but for most it does not work.

Shouldn't the end users be able to control when and why they want to see ads?

I travel a lot in and outside of Japan. In Japan, I enjoy go people watching in Akihabara, Shinjuku on a Friday evening, Yoyogi Koen on a Saturday morning (plus this little street in front of the NHK concert hall as fun live bands). Some nitpick. This article is confusing augmented reality with virtual reality. Augmented reality can be observed in games like In Shadows (www.inshadows.asia) Virtual Reality is Sony's Project Morpheus or the Oculus Rift.

I really love Kanji! But after trying to mass-memorize flash cards with single Kanji and it still couldn't read properly, I realized that Kanji is WORDS not single characters. Yes I am slow...
