Posted in: Kishida cracks jokes and invokes 'Star Trek' as he and Biden toast U.S.-Japan alliance at state dinner See in context

Once Kishida walks into the sunset himself later this year, his future as a top stand-up star is assured, well certainly amongst his LDP buddies anyway.

As for Biden, he's like the walking dead, hovering at the pearly gates.

Posted in: Biden meets Kishida over shared concerns about China and differences on U.S. Steel deal See in context

Prime Minister Kishida has to ensure total support and cooperation from the US, at such a critical time globally - Japan is in the unfortunate position of being wedged between three countries which are run by three of the nastiest people on this planet, Putin, Xi, and Kim.

It seems inexplicable how the rest of the free world is unable to make any significant inroads into minimising the damaging effect this Gang of Three are inflicting on the rest of us.

Kishida would do well to urge Biden to get the latest package pledged for Ukraine out of the starting-blocks straightaway, the procrastination is causing enormous suffering.

That's an excellent menu and wine-list to enjoy, and being serenaded by the great Paul Simon, this should really take Kishida's mind off all the domestic problems for a while; not so sure about the J-pop duo though, may lower the tone a bit.

What is it with the sneaky Chinese and their obsession with total surveillance / spying activities ??

The rest of the free democratic countries of the world need to step-up with their very best and brightest scientists and technologists to counter the menace that is China - they can only be defeated by playing them at their own stupid games.

I've avoided buying anything stamped with 'Made in China' for years now, and always encourage others to do the same.

Sure, the police do treat their own softly here, so far he's being suspended from duty for 3 months, but then he resigned on the day that he confessed to the crime.

The real punishment will be handed down once he faces the judge on the charge of theft, but I can't imagine it will be harsh - then after a suitable period of time, he'll probably be quietly reinstated, maybe at a different koban.

Posted in: U.N. chief urges EU to avoid 'double standards' over Gaza and Ukraine See in context

There is a lot of credence given to the fact that Mossad were aware of the Oct. 7th plot, but Netanyahu pretended to know nothing about this, thereby facilitating the all-out war against Gaza that he desperately sought to activate, purely because he feared being ousted as the most corrupt and inept leader Israel has had.

A bit like Putin really, start a war to keep himself 'popular' in the minds of ordinary Russian people, and stay in power to execute that war.

Why we have so many vile, cruel and sadistic rulers, who are allowed to remain in power, is a mystery to me.

It's a miracle that she survived being punched "in her face and head for about 20 minutes"..... if she'd collapsed and died from her injuries, he'd be getting ready to swing.

And now he's feeling a bit non-communicative - I'm sure they'll find ways which he'll be familiar with, of making him talk.

Why the Japanese allow these uncivilised 'gangsters' to carry on still is a mystery to me, seems totally anachronistic in these times.

Posted in: N Korean leader Kim calls for stronger war fighting capabilities against U.S., S Korea See in context

NATO's membership has absolutely Zero desire or intentions to invade any sovereign, independent, democratic country - it never has had, and never will. It will of course come to the assistance of any freedom-loving democratic country which is threatened.

There are only the deranged psychopathic leaders of the following unfortunate countries who have intentions of this nature: the Kim-family dynasty who seek to wipe-out South Korea, the War Criminal-in-Chief who plans to move on to Moldova, Finland, and possibly Poland, once he's finished the total destruction of Ukraine, the Chinese Dictator who is trying to model himself in the role of Master-of-the-Universe, having taken Tibet out, threatening to invade Taiwan, whilst being involved in 11 international border disputes, and the totally irreligious and blood-thirsty Ayatollah who still seeks to annihilate Israel.

These are the real enemies of a peaceful world order, and their demise can not come soon enough.

We're still waiting for that report to come out on how he's managed to accrue such astonishing wealth on the salary of a Russian president.....

To kill yourself, fair enough, but to murder 4 innocent children beforehand is totally off the scale - what demons must have been preying on his mind to commit such a barbaric and heinous crime ?

I can't imagine the torment his wife and the rest of the families must be going through.

As if life isn't hard enough in this desperately deprived country...... and guess what's at the root of the problems here, and in neighbouring Mali, you've got it: religions.

High time this fantasy-tales nonsense and stupidity was consigned to the dustbin of history. These people of the Sahel should be putting every ounce of their efforts in prioritising the economic growth of their countries, to improve their living-standards / obtain clean-water / construct new housing and schools / providing better healthcare.

The last thing they should be engaged in is fighting stupid wars and insurrection, or wasting time and money on religious buildings and activities: these lead Nowhere.

More murderous activities from the despicable War Criminal - how much longer will it be before someone, anyone, takes the vile coward down.

With the blood of over 100,000 dead people on his hands, why on earth is he still allowed to be free to continue this barbaric war, let alone be in charge of a country, which he has now turned into a pariah state.

Posted in: Japan foreign minister says women's involvement key to peace efforts See in context

I acknowledge the longevity of Yoko Kamikawa's political service and her determination to improve gender and diplomatic activities, especially those undertaken by women worldwide.

I strongly believe that if more women were leaders of such countries as Russia, China, NK, all of the Middle East, Pakistan, and all other uncivilised barbaric places, then there would be far less (and in certain circumstances) no violence, no inter-border disputes and no terrible wars.

It is the sheer unadulterated stupidity of men and their deranged dispositions to want to take by force the lands or territories of others, for what ??

Men's blinkered view of harmonious cordiality, and their total disregard for the sanctity of every single person's human-right to a peaceful existence on this planet, will eventually be realised as the basis of the destructive and repressive forces which more than half of the world's population endures.

Posted in: Navalny's mother visits grave after funeral draws thousands See in context

Can't help feeling extremely disappointed in the lack of speeches censuring the deranged Putin and his toxic acolytes by the leaders of all the free countries of the world, for having murdered the opposition leader Navalny. Nothing from the head of the UN either - pathetic.

How can such barbaric behaviour be just brushed under the carpet ?

Navalny represented the possibility of a much brighter future for Russia, to make Russia a normal country again. Problem is, Putin just snuffed this out like swatting a fly.

The barbarism and repressive cruelties will just continue unchecked and unabated, as though the rest of the world is impotent to act and bring about changes. The prospect of Revolution by the people seems so utterly remote now.

Meanwhile, all of the LDP slush-fund scandals continue to rumble on, with Kishida left to fight the constant backlash and slipping-away of his political support. He can't have been happy that the budget push-through negotiations have eaten into his weekend.

Maybe that's why he couldn't find time to pass his country's condolences to the Navalny family and supporters on the very sad day of his funeral yesterday; most of the free-worlds leaders managed to do this. Strangely, there's been no coverage of this here on JT either......

Cruise has been suspended due to one significant (life-changing injuries to a pedestrian) and many small accidents.

Local people opposition includes placing traffic-cones on the vehicles, creating more mayhem.

Easier just to drive your own car, take a cab or train, even buses safer !

It's no mystery that these disgusting, medieval, and sadistic practices continue in Muslim countries, it's in their playbook after all.

Horrendous floggings, stoning, limb-amputations, public hangings and beheadings, even the standard wife-beatings are the norm for them.

The United Nations can protest as much as the rest of the normal free democratic countries of the world, but it won't change a thing, until the poor and deprived Muslim populations rise up in revolution against their blood-thirsty demonic leaders.

The Taiwanese have made themselves very clear that they are a free and democratic sovereign state, and have no wish to change that.
