Sarge, I would cancel bottle of wine as Japanese don’t know how to drink any way and order a box of lemon soda

i like 4th girl from left or 3rd from right:) she looks very natural in this dress and hair style. But honestly I feel sorry for japanese men: they haven’t got really a choice. Or kawaiii girls dressed like children or obasan style ladies wearing underwear designed in 1910.

Ok, they are not idiots, but very naïve. I mean- if I don’t know how to cook, I will learn it from people who can cook well. If I need law advice – I will check what kind of lawyer I need for this particular case. What I want to say- you are not just jumping into something without doing necessary researches, without creating a stable basis for your business ( even small, no matter) and without really knowing the subject…

Posted in: Wives still have passion, but how to get their husbands to realize it? See in context

I am agreed with tkoind2, in 90 pct of japanese society it goes without saying that woman will quit her job in order to take care of house and kids. It is like an agreement, both side knows it and both side will still sign for it even if they would like to have something else…

Himajin: I am not referring only to the fashion ( boots, bag etc), but to the life style. I am buying as well all these women magazines, but I will never take anything seriously from there. It is just train reading to kill my time. But in japan influence of media is enormous and impact of “ copy- paste” is bigger

I don’t get it, really. I feel really sorry about those people who can not communicate about their sexual desires. Stress, work, kids- all these elements are irrelevant, believe me, if you want something- you go for it. And if you don’t go- then you don’t want it really as much as you think. Life is simple, people make it complicated.

Chamade: well, you are quite right about timing. Thought I didn’t feel any timing pressure from ryokan where I stayed with my japanese friends, I did feel this timing pressure coming from them. Everything was scheduled: now we are taking bath, then breakfast, then walk in the forest ( very fast, that you hardly see forest and imagine you became a shinkansen yourself), then again program etc, so this was quite stressful.

tokyokawasaki " think all men agree with us on this point.... Why is it that women still fail to get it.. Talk straight and you'll get the answer or the response you're looking for." totally agreed! i always do so ( i think this is a reason why guys are running away from me:))

I don’t like japanese quality in building houses: plastic (!!!) bath tube, cheap materials used ( exception of high standard real estate) and kitchen without normal oven

Very nicely done website, indeed, but prices are still given for at least 2 persons occupancy and it is funny that in category “ small luxury hotels” peninsula and park hayatt Tokyo are mentioned

Canukle: i do respect yours as well, but i still do not understand the reason to sleep with a child in the same bed if a) there is enough space b) child is not ill. could you please explain?

I still do not understand why children sleep with parents in japan. Ok, if it is a space issue- no question, you will try to do your best from what you have got, but in normal conditions – it is imho sick to sleep with kids

My imho: japanese women are very hot looking before they get married, once they got married they change their look from girly kawai to obasan. i go to onsen quite often and sorry but I see pretty women wearing terrible underwear. I mean – sex is not only act, it is a spirit, if you haven’t got it- try to create it.

there is one very good italian restaurant in Osaka between nichiohachi and nishinagahori train station, the owner is italian living in japan for more then 10 years already. food is very close to authentic, but prices are quite high...

Posted in: A taste of Italy See in context

Well, it is a good idea, but it will never be the same: transported tomato and tomato bought on a Saturday market in Como. The same goes for japanese food purchased in Europe: good to survive but not really authentic

Posted in: Why Japanese property managers are so strict on renting apartments See in context

I agree- money talks, especially in a current financial situation japanese are ready to make compromises and even to negotiate business! First time I went to japan and rented apartment, I could hardly speak japanese. So I just said – “ do you see money? Do you want money? Take it or leave it”, the deal was done within 10 minutes.

Imho: in japan the problem is copy – paste culture. Once any thing is popular ( hair band, bag, etc) everyone must have it, no matter if it is suitable, looking good etc. few people know how to express their own tastes and style, but most are just copying advices taken from books and magazines
