I am Canadian. Most of my friends are Japanese and Korean. Japanese culture and People that I have come to know and appreciate are some of the most Special people on this planet. The majority being respectful, caring and so sincere in many ways (The General Population). Past is Past and can not be changed but how we act and govern ourselves now and in the future is what creates a better world through the spirit of forgiveness, cooperation and building together to make our world a better place. Love for one another is the power that mends and heals. Let's move forward with positive thinking and with Love for others putting the past behind and building for a better future. Just my thoughts :)

Does anyone know the Status of Narumi ? Has the news reported about her current condition? Hope she will come out of her coma and recover …

Regardless of the reason, the fact is this girl who is only 21 is seriously injured and we should pray for her recovery. Anyone who still believes in prayer, please pray for her. I don't belong to any religion but really suggest as many people pray for her as possible. The authorities should investigate and also hold responsible the person who did not maintain the sign .. but first, this girl needs care. I really hope she will be able to recover. I really Narumi and Her Family to be ok.

I understand that in Japan the populate is expected to decline and this may mean even more empty homes or apartments in the years and decades to come. I am Canadian living in Canada but would like to live in Japan, and maybe if Japan could allow more immigration for people like myself I would move my company to Japan and build a life there, buying or renting a home and contributing to the economy, paying taxes and more .. My understanding is it is very difficult to immigrate to Japan but more and easier Immigration could maybe help Japan, more people means more consumption and more demand for goods and services which also means creation of more jobs too :)

I'm not clear on how things work in Japan. Here in Canada when people rent a home or apartment the water is included in the rent, there are no meters other than for an entire building so people don't get water cut off. Water is a basic need and here it is covered / built into the property tax. The only water people pay for as individuals here is bottled water we buy in a store.

How much does water cost in Japan? Maybe a fund could be established to help cover the cost of water for people, especially a single parent family struggling to keep food on the table. I would be happy to help this person cover her water bills, one less thing for her to worry about as she raises a child on her own.

I am in Vancouver Canada and feel for this hard working single mother. I want to send her something to help or even offer to relocate here.

People Died and others were injured in crashes due to this problem. In addition to the fines, criminal negligence causing death should be added and the person or persons responsible held accountable for those deaths, as criminals. This also disgraced the high Japanese standards we came to expect.

I rented a car from Budget Rentals, a Toyota, before the news of the recalls. I had brought it back because I experienced the problem myself and let the Budget Rental company know. Another problem I experienced was that the windshield had a blurry image in the line of site of the driver side, maybe just a defect on that car, maybe on all of them but for sure a blurry distortion at eye level. If I looked form above or below it was fine.
