I imagine the 15 ton of sweet potatoes are on a slow boat to North Korea via China. Smugglers have to supply goods for hundreds of markets in North Korea. Like the tons of apples stolen in previous years with no trace.

I agree with Macron. Turkey has had to shoulder millions of Syrian refugees before Erdogan invaded northern Syria. He had had enough and should have notified NATO beforehand. Every actor with troops in Syria has had to consult Russia.

All of Trumps' moves are designed to make the UN, NATO, WTO world order seem irrelavent and without meaning. This is why the UN, NATO and the WTO is feeling the crunch. There existence can not be dependent upon the US. I hope they all see this and understand that the US has gone Renegade.

No commanteer, it is not about right and wrong but more like cause and affect. I hope Macrons' speech was a wake up call to the WTO and the UN as well. One country falling by the wayside should not topple the whole institution. Reforms must be made and met.

Pres Putin wants the NATO Alliance, the United Nations and the World Trade Organization all to disband. Pres Trump by veto of new judges, will dissolve the WTO Appellate Court in December when two of the four remaining judges retire. Pres Trump also refuses to pay the membership fee to the United Nations, causing staff to work without pay. All will benefit Russia

For China and India to have such large populations, you would think they would apply biomass innovation to creating energy. It is backwards to still use coal. Bill Gates promoted a machine that I think can revolutionize waste and energy sectors.

Agreed, that the change in climate is the defining moment of our time and that as leaders we should do everything possible to prepare for the worse. Coal is cheap even though modern technology has shown its many uses. Graqhene for instance is a coal derivative and is an invaluable future material.

It has an enormous membership base and Neumann purchased the old Lord and Taylor building on 5th Ave in Manhattan as an expansion space. The Hive office sharing co. I believe has gone global, Wework really is a good idea but it needs to spur innovation by bringing in speakers at the forefront of innovation, offer workshops and open incubators where People can contribute to a innovative project as an investment if their idea is used. It does not always have to be about money.

The main problems with the countries deemed poor are either there geographical location or mismanagement. This can be corrected by the IMF and World Bank by allowing countries deemed poor to incrementally raise the value of the country currency to make them competitive on the global market. As for mismanagement a sanction or two should be enough incentive to toe the line to spur development.

One can only hope differences can be mended. But I think Pres Trump is playing the Mad hatter and not the diplomat. The IMF itself needs to reform how they dictate the currency of a country by geographical location.
