I feel sorry for Kei, he wasn't playing anywhere near his peak yesterday.. Hope he can recover his finesse!

Thanks for the info JT! I've actually been looking for something like this for a while, I love Noh performances!

@Matej: A waste of money to host US forces in Japan is it? If the US withdrew and Japan had to fund its own defense, do you think that would be a cheaper and more effective solution? I can't see how you would get to that conclusion.

I saw it after watching the TV series, was really god actually!

Judging by other articles' comments, the mistake you made was expressing sympathy for a Japanese person on this website. It seems that is the quickest way to get major downvotes recently. Make sure to express something negative about Japan next time I guess and you'll be sure to get a flood of upvotes. Weird isn't it?
You're not wrong there I've noticed that too, what a cynical disgrace

So glad Japan is owning this virus, unlike back home in Europe. Won't be going back home for a while that's for sure.
You can say that again! I came from the States, and yeah lol I won't be going back, far too embarrassing. I regret nothing moving to Japan.

Those plastic cones are amazing! Back home in the States, morons are throwing "corona parties" where people deliberately infect other people, anti-maskers berate and even attack anyone wearing a mask, and practical solutions like these cones would be met with mock and probably violence. We've sunk so low as a people and a nation it'll take decades before anyone respects us again, if ever.. For me it's too much of an embarrassment, I won't ever be returning except for holiday.

I am sorry to hear. Your country sounds a real awful place. I hope you get PR.
@Fighto! Thank you! I'm from the US, but I'm literally too ashamed and embarrassed to call myself American these days.. I really do hope I can get PR because I'm not going back to the US in its current state even if someone paid me.. :(

In the biggest city in the world, those numbers are about as successful as they come. I'm so damn glad I moved to Tokyo! Back home is an epic disaster zone and I don't think I'll ever move back after all this.

He's a super rich elite so of course he wants elite pre-trial detention, but thankfully Japan treats everyone the same no matter how rich or poor they are. I'd be very upset if they released him on bail where he'd surely flee

Well done to Japan! They now finally have a better suicide rate than most EU nations. Keep up the good work!

Looked like a really beautiful ceremony! Never forget

Not sure how Sydney makes that list, it's the most unaffordable place on Earth with shocking public transport. Melbourne isn't too much different..

Not sure what the issue here is? It's art, it's not supposed to be scientifically accurate. Would we rip up and burn Picasso's or Van Gogh's works because they aren't scientifically accurate? This slide towards censorship is disturbing and should be countered at every turn

I am supportive of the comfort women issue, but enough is enough. Korea should move on and stop whingeing

Good to hear! Sanction that crime of a state into the ground

Finally! Toilet paper by itself which just smears feces on and across your skin isn't enough and it's disgusting and bizarre that people are happy with just toilet paper and a product like this hasn't been released sooner

This is the same airline that almost crashed into 4 other planes on the wrong runway in San Fran last year which could have led to over 1,000 deaths. Enough is enough, remove this airlines' accreditation and ban them from flying. This is unforgivable incompetence by the airline

I've met people who had no problem walking up to me and saying, "Don't talk to that woman, she's Korean -- you can tell by the name. It's not a Japanese traditional name!", etc. I've heard that dozens of times, and always with a tone of scorn, warnings not to trust them, etc.
They might have a point though, I've met dozens, possibly hundreds, of Koreans in Japan who openly hate the country and wish harm and misfortune on it, always with a tone of scorn. Therefore I would say this is a commonly held belief among their type.
It appears that everyone has anecdotal evidence to support their spurious views.

Good to hear that Iceland has upped their health code standards to match Japan's so that their whaling program can can be resumed! Good hunting!

Well it's good that Trump is coming to his senses over the TPP and opening the way to return to it. Not joining it in the first place was an unimaginably stupid decision and we have lost most of the clauses we ourselves created through the TPP negotiations

Compared to the corruption, abuses of power, and crimes committed by politicians and the government in other so called developed nations around the world, this alleged land sale is nothing and wouldn't even make the front page. The amount of false outrage and virtue signalling here is comical and quite embarrassing

Once again Japan ratcheting up tensions by trying to scupper the North Korea talks with South Korea. It seems like Japan wants war no matter what!
