Doesn't bode well for MU! Perhaps the heat, I don't know, I'd be surprised they will be a winning team, there's gonna be a lot of competition, maybe too much!

Posted in: Court ruling orders anyone with a TV-equipped device to pay NHK’s public broadcasting license fee See in context
Outrageous! On the other side, in my home country of Belgium, they charge a lot more. As soon as you buy a TV, the government has you, as you need to fill in papers in the shop and the shops mails it to the tax office. You also need to pay per TV, so if you have 3 TV's, that's times 3! And it's not cheap either. I also dont watch NHK!

It's true they are quite full, I ask them for a small cup and then poor some in the extra cup and then add my honey and milk. In my opinion Starbucks coffee is good, although a bit strong. With a little inguiinity you can find a solution to every situation.

I used to use windows, now I use Mac , not going back to windows! New os for Mac is about 25$ for windows more than 10 times that. Most apps are cheap compared to buyin the different windows software you need. On top of it on my Mac I can change to any language without paying more, on windows you have to buy! I think that sucks, especially after spending 300$ on a new OS! But then everyone has the freedom to choose what they like, it's a personal decision, whatever you are comfortable with I suppose......

I think they need to learn NGO pass the ball and take the keeper by surprise. From al the soccer I have seen, winning teams always pass. If you try to shoot straight at the keeper, well that's the way it goos! I think that is human nature. it's a team game! I think Japan did poorly, they are good technically but need to learn to get the bal in, only that counts! I sure hope they will do better!

Posted in: How bad do you think the tension on the Korean Peninsula is going to get? See in context
that is very true! the consequences would be immense! America might just go down over a war like that! For us here in Japan that would be a scRy situation, don't really want to think about this! especially at a time like this Christmas being a few days away, this is supposed to be a celebration of "Peace"?

Posted in: How bad do you think the tension on the Korean Peninsula is going to get? See in context
as they say it takes two to tango! It seems to me that to use life fire drills in a disputed area is quite insensitive and a provocation. Russia and China's objection seems to be the best comment yet on the situation. the US's response is absurd and in line with their strategy so far, think Vietnam, panama, iraq, Afghanistan etc., always ready fir war! I don't think N Korea is joking either. How come these grown up man still play boy games of fighting and bullying? When will all this stop? and when can we live in peace?
